My wife and I are both educators. We have 2 kids (10 & 6) that we are trying really hard to home school them properly. Schools are closed for the rest of the school year here, but we are still getting paid to “work from home.” We do home schooling from around 9-11ish, have lunch and spend some time playing with the kids out in the yard. After lunch, the kids have some free time to do whatever they choose. That’s usually when we have our first drink.

I’ve been drinking much more lately than I normally do. Nothing much else to do.

Re-watching Game of Thrones is awesome. Just finished S1 last night and it’s amazing how much stuff I’m picking up on now. Characters appearing now and things happening that I thought were much later in the show. Plus, Danny’s boobs are all over the place in S1 ?

I’m going in my bunker until July. I’m equipped to grow ***** potatoes like in that horrible space movie with Matt Damon. Peace out.

I can’t tell if this is satire or not, but we have healthy 20 something year old kids dying from COVID where I live.

This is where I’m at with this regime. If Beane wants a guy, he seems to do what it takes to move around to get him. I could see Beane moving back into the bottom of the first round for a player like this.

I’d like to see them go after a grad transfer like Brendan Barry the PG from Dartmouth. Knockdown shooter who can handle the ball. Just depth for JG3. Edit: Seems like the only other one they have seriously reached out to is Joshua Morgan, a 6’11” 195 pound C from Long Beach State.

I could see Kadari playing the wing. He has the range. Can back up both guard spots also, but ideal position for him is SG.

I assume you’re referring to Towns and Tape. Still some good transfers/grad transfers out there. Who wants to be our next Wes Johnson? I think we should shoot for some G/SF depth if we can get it, and let Sidibe and Edwards develop. Our best chance to start really making some noise is 2021-22.

Anyone watch the new season of Altered Carbon yet? I enjoyed S1 (not great but good) and I’m running out of shows to watch.

I think this is likely a good prediction. Here in Vermont we had 4 confirmed cases and 0 deaths on 3/14 when Governor Scott shut down schools until 4/6. Today (3/24) we now have 95 confirmed cases and 7 deaths. We average between 20-25 new confirmed cases and 2-3 new deaths every 24 hours. No way schools are going to open back up on 4/6, and I would be shocked if they were open by 8/26 which is the first student day of the 20-21 school year.

Still enough to extend 2 of White, Dawkins or Milano. Probably White & Milano or Dawkins & Milano. Git er done, Beane!

He’s pretty average as far as speed goes. Maybe below average for his size/weight. What does he bring to the table that Robert Foster does not? I honestly do not know. If we’re to sign a mid-level FA WR I kinda prefer the Higgins kid from Cleveland.

Just finished S2 of YOU on Netflix. It was pretty good. Better than S1 I thought. Ending has nice twists and turns, but some of the characters (e.g., Fourty) become just flat out annoying. I thought the lead in to S3 was very “clumsy.” I’ll probably watch it though.
