I chose the NYJ because I think Miami’s defense is appreciably worse than last season. That said, I don’t think Rogers is close to 100% and likely won’t make it through the season. On paper, the Jets look like the more complete team right now.

For the Pats game last season we stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Hamburg. Wasn’t super nice, but was just fine if you’re not too fussy. Reasonable price, clean room, free breakfast buffet, and a very easy trip to the stadium. I would stay there again.

It’s likely Sedrick either earns the starting OC job in training camp, or he doesn’t make the 53 and they hope to sign him to the PS. He’s just not an OG. Not nearly big/physical enough. I would suspect that he gets every chance to win that staring OC job, as this was clearly a pick directly from Kromer.

I figured we’d take a RB today. Love Ray Davis. He’s elusive, but also is a punishing runner. Admittedly Braelon Allen was the RB I wanted, but Davis is probably better I guess.

I go on record as saying when I heard about the pick and I was bummed. Then I remembered about how in the fall everyone was talking about Keon being an elite draft prospect in the same tier as the top 3-4 guys. Then Florida State lost their QB. Then Keon ran a 💩 40 at the combine, but among the fastest mph in the gauntlet drill. Caught my attention. I’m kind of ambivalent, tbh, but I’m willing to give Beane the benefit of the doubt. Welcome, Keon.

I also have all the seasons on DVD and have watched them all a bunch of times. When I was in high school a bunch of us stoners would get together on the night it aired and have NEBS’s (Northern Exposure Bong Sessions) every week. 😆
