NFL Sunday Ticket 2020

Criminal ? -
Hence the reason for keeping Hauschka and Bass. Have Bass do the regular kickoff duties, but every once in a while (at the last second) sub in Hausch to throw the other team a curve ball. He drops a high hanger on the 15 yard line and Pat DiMarco vaporizes the returner. This will lead to many more fumble recoveries on special teams. Genius. Go short on LB’ers. We only really need 2. We play nickel most of the time anyway. Just keep one extra safety. Bingo.

NFL Sunday Ticket 2020

My call wasn’t hard at all. I did the usual by saying “cancel service” to the robot lady at the beginning of the call, but when I was transferred to customer retention I was overly nice and polite. Just asked if they had any deals or promotions for a loyal customer. Ten minute call. $45 off for 12 months and ST Max for free. No contract extension, so I’m still month to month. Perhaps your experience depends on whether you get a “call center” here in the US, or one overseas. The representative for my most recent call was clearly from this country. The woman had a southern accent. I have dealt with international call centers in the past, and have had some not so great experiences ?♂️ -

Bummer... -
I could see that. Although, his minutes are likely to be very limited playing behind JG3. I could see Richmond playing both guard spots, actually. Interesting that he’s listed as a forward on the team roster. I think Alan Griffin immediately has a stranglehold on the SF spot. He was a great pickup. Perfect for Boeheim’s scheme. Can shoot very well, play defense, rebound....long, physical player. PG: Girard SG: Boeheim SF: Griffin PF: Dolezaj ? Sidibe Guerrier will be first off the bench. A lot of ?’s at F & C. I have a feeling that Anselem will quickly move to #2 on the C depth chart, but Boeheim will still use Dolezaj at C a lot. I’m wondering how Woody Newton fits into the equation. I hear he is impressing folks in workouts. I think we will be much better than last season. Much more depth/physicality.

Interview with a Serial Killer. It’s an interesting watch for sure. He is very candid about his life and crimes.
-
Yeah. He killed a young boy and girl up in Watertown. Plead guilty to a manslaughter charge, and only served 14 years of a 25 year sentence. Horrible failure by the criminal justice system for sure. I found it interesting, after all the humans he murdered, the most “severe” charge he was convicted of was 2nd degree murder. I don’t know about those kids, but those prostitute murders were definitely premeditated.

Both of my FF leagues are cancelled ? -
Just get a VHS player and record your favorite shows. Catalogue them on a large bookshelf in your living room and it’s just like having DVR service ?

This is crazy because I never knew about his crimes. Mel grew up in Montezuma which borders my home town, Auburn. I used to see him quite a bit around town, as his brother (who worked as a construction laborer for my father) still lived in Auburn. He was sort of a local hero, and would often show up to the local little league field to watch. I remember one time he threw a bunch of cash down on the counter of the snack shack and all the kids got to get all the snowcones, soda, or hot dogs they wanted. Parents flocked him for autographs. What the hell was wrong with the parents of that girl?! Reminds me of that weird documentary on Netflix, “Abducted in Plain Sight.” His brother, whose name escapes me, worked for my father but developed a bad crack habit and ended up homeless. Pretty sure he is dead now.

Drinkers, need your input
Johnny Hammersticks replied to The Poojer's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Pooj, I have a buddy who has always been able to drink everybody under the table. Dude’s like 5’6” 155 pounds. Even when we were in high school, he was always the last man standing. The type of guy who could put back an entire 750 ml bottle of Jim Beam to his face while drinking beers. I was in his wedding a couple Octobers ago....hadn’t seen him in over a decade. Same thing. Guy can still drink a crap ton of booze and it’s like he’s drinking Sprite. And he doesn’t even drink regularly anymore since his daughter was born. I think it’s in his blood. -

It was a joke, butt head. I like Focal. There are many better beers in VT though, IMO. -

Alchemist beers are for tourists. We put that brewery there, kinda like a bug zapper, to attract flat landers and keep them away from our better breweries ? -

The Tuuka Rask situation...
Johnny Hammersticks replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Word around the campfire here in New England is that Rask got absolutely hammered the night before his “undisclosed illness” that kept him out of the lineup against the Sens. Apparently, he was too hung over to even go through warm ups. Rumor is he has had a bad drinking problem for a long time, and also lots of marital problems that have impacted his play.
