TBH, I don’t think JB or the ‘Cuse program has the “clout” that it once had to convince a young star like KR to come off the bench like that when they are CLEARLY the better player. Especially given the new transfer rules. You’re seeing clear evidence of that right now. Guys like Richmond and Braswell want to start or get significant minutes. Now they gone 🤷🏻‍♂️ Possible ray of sunshine?

FWIW, I just heard from a pretty solid source that Woody Newton is leaning toward staying. That said, the same person told me yesterday that Kadary was also staying 😞 I wonder if PayCal straight up offered the starting PG spot to Kadary...

In addition to Ajak and Braswell, I expect Newton, Griffin, Dolezaj and Sidibe to leave. Dolezaj will go play in Europe and probably have an amazing career over there. Guerrier is smart to get evaluated by the NBA, but I don’t expect him to leave.

I like Brashod Bateman much more than Toney and I think there’s a decent chance he’ll be there at 30. I guess I wouldn’t cry about Etienne. I think the value at 30 is going to be CB and OL.

Dammit...although it's been pretty clear (to me anyway) that he is not part of the long-term plans at OBD. Isaiah needs to get that money to support himself and his family. Not one of the guys who can afford to take a team friendly deal, IMO. Best of luck to him wherever he lands.

I'm right there with ya. Very good show and the best of the series thus far, IMO. Nice to see a HC who isn't a complete lunatic. More focus on the players and their stories.

The Good Lord Bird on Showtime and Hulu is pretty good so far. About 6 episodes in. Ethan Hawke is pretty freakin awesome as John Brown. Kinda has a Tarantino type vibe to it. Check it out.

Chances are Etienne or Harris will be available at 30 if Beane really wants to upgrade the RB position. I definitely don’t see any other big FA splashes.
