I was a cup in the morning type of guy...until my wife got the Nespresso machine. Love it. Good, strong coffee in the morning. Double shot of espresso when I’m feeling sluggish in the afternoon. Keeps me going.

Anyone know anything about parking in the Mud Lot? I believe my father used to park here when I was younger, but I can’t remember. My cousin is going to the game on Sunday and asked me about it. Thoughts about lot? Cost? Tailgating atmosphere? Easy to get to/get out of after game? Will his car get stuck in the mud? 😂 I’d like to pass this info on to him so he has a good experience at his first game. Thanks all.

Found out my cat had diabetes. Saw what the cost of insulin would be. Oscar had to get put down. Bless his chubby little feline heart. Loved that cat.

This will be the third Christmas since my kids were born that we’ll be staying in Vermont for Xmas Eve. We used to go back home to Auburn for Xmas eve, but now that the kids are older (8 & 12) we like them to wake up an open gifts at home on Christmas morn. Got my 6 pound prime rib ready to go for Xmas eve. Keep it simple with a good au jus, some creamy horseradish sauce, baked potatoes, and some steamed asparagus. Wife will make some desserts I’m sure, and she usually does a charcuterie tray for everyone to snack on. I’ll get a few pounds of shrimp also to do chilled shrimp and cocktail sauce. A couple bottles of Evan Williams egg nog to sip on. I love me some Christmas 🎄

I think a “cannabis bar” would be cool as hell. But then again, I am someone who enjoys socializing when I’m high. I’m envisioning a coffee/soft drink type bar (no alcohol) with comfy couches and all kinds of games to play (pool, darts, cornhole, foosball, old school video games, etc...). Great music playing...maybe even live music sometimes. Would need a simple bar menu with tasty snacks also. That would be so awesome 👏

I don’t think so because cannabis use is so wide spread already. If anything, other options for ingesting THC are so widely available now that lung cancer related to long-term cannabis smoking may be on the decline in the future. I prefer edibles, and I’d say that I smoke A LOT less flower than I used to because of that. I do usually keep some bud around, but a few grams will last me a month or two.

I believe there is some current research to suggest that prolonged and heavy marijuana use can cause some people who are genetically predisposed to develop psychosis. That said, I think it is important to not confuse correlation with causation. Other life/genetic factors are likely also in play for these “heavy” cannabis users.

What I’ve seen a great deal of is people, such as my father and uncle, who are using THC/CBD products to treat legitimate medical conditions because it is no longer stigmatized as being an evil drug. My father uses .5 mg of a THC (heavy Indica) and CBD tincture most evenings after dinner for pain. It really has improved his quality of life, and he very rarely needs to take prescription pain killer any more.

I think there is enough longitudinal research available already without making it widely (Federally) legal. Let’s be real here. Most people have been smoking weed or consuming THC products either legally or illegally for a long time. Colorado and Washington State, for example, should have some good data.

We don’t have a point guard. Plain and simple. Neither JG3 or Symir are good enough ball handlers, and neither are going to create much off the dribble. We have some shooters, but no one who can consistently drive, draw defenders, and dish. Kadary COULD do that. Our so called offense is essentially crippled. We’re also hurting at the C and PF positions. Jesse has been okay, but there is no depth and he is going to get drubbed by more physical ACC centers. I would say that this team does seem to lack aggressiveness as a whole. Not going to be a pretty season, gang.

Just my opinion, but JB has really “phoned it in” since around the time of the NCAA sanctions. Watching him throw Benny under the bus in his presser just further reinforced this for me. I think he should take a cue from Coach K and retire. This program needs something new. He’s got a pretty solid ‘22 recruiting class coming in and he’s going to blow it. We’re staring directly down the barrel at a losing season. He mishandled many players including Kadary, but always gets the benefit of the doubt. Love Jim for being a legend. A hero of mine since I have memories of Syracuse basketball. He’s done IMO. Time to move on.

Had a couple friends that went down to Battle for Atlantis. Wife and I were thinking about making the trip, but I sure am glad we decided against it. The Bahamas are nice and everything, but ***** that was some horrible basketball. ACC play should be a real treat. 🤢🤮
