  1. Good thing we have like 8 picks and not a lot of needs. Agreed about the dire need for CB2, but Beane will have the picks to maneuver around in a draft that’s pretty deep with CBs. Also, Beane seems to have a knack at finding good DB’s in the mid-late rounds. I completely trust him. I just like Dotson a lot, and would be thrilled to land him at 25. Your point is understood though.
  2. Man…I’ve been watching a lot of Jahan Dotson highlights lately and I think he might be my favorite WR in the draft. He’s deceptively fast and explosive. Great route runner. Love the way he catches the ball. Not the most physically imposing guy, but he’s going to be a problem in the NFL, IMHO. I’d be thrilled with him at 25.
  3. Not a bad signing for potential IOL depth. I don’t think this has as much to do with Bates as it does with losing Mongo. From what I have read, he fits well technique wise with what Kromer wants to do.
  4. I got it WR, CB, IOL 😁 Treylon Burks/Jahan Dotson/Jameson Williams Andrew Booth/Kaiir Elam/Roger McCreary/Kyler Gordon
  5. Mine was not driving but on a boat. A shrimping boat. You see, my friend Bubba had a dream to be a shrimping boat captain, and when he died I felt compelled to fulfill his dream. People called me crazy, but I didn’t listen. But shrimping was hard! That is until Lieutenant Dan came down to the bayou to help. He was a troubled man. Anyway, the sea was angry that night my friend. 80 mph winds, 20-30’ swells, rain as hard as momma’s fryin’ pan. I don’t know how we made it out alive, but I think Lieutenant Dan made his peace with god that night.
  6. You draft a ***** punter at 25, that’s how! 😂 Personally, I’d like to go offensive skill position (WR, RB, TE) with our first 2 picks 🤷🏾‍♂️
  7. Right. Isn’t it a good feeling that we really don’t “need” to go out and spend a ton of cash in FA? Our biggest needs now, arguably, are CB, WR and NT (maybe lesser so after Tim Settle signing?). Nice to be able to swing for the fences with every one of our picks in the draft.
  8. What the hell do you want? JC Jackson for the vet minimum? Chandler Jones to play for unlimited wings? Jesus! When you have very little cap room, a very good roster, and quite of few core players coming up soon for new contracts….you add value depth pieces in free agency. I don’t get what’s so hard to comprehend. Did you not learn math ever?
  9. If you read the entire OP, it actually makes sense. He’s mainly referring to those FAs (such as Saffold/Landry) who are in the “twilight of their careers,” but still have a couple good playing years left in them. They already have had 2 or more good contracts, so $ may be less important to them than winning. Take a guy like Christian Kirk who could have probably signed a 8-9 million dollar/year deal in Buffalo and have a legit shot to win a chip. Now he’ll be making ~17 million/year playing for the Jags 🤢🤮 It depends on the FA and where they are with their careers, IMO.
  10. But why kick the can down the road with important players such as Knox, Oliver and Edmunds (debatable) approaching the time for new deals? I just don’t understand your logic with the way Beane has always handled free agency.
  11. I mean Alex Cappa, who many consider to be in the same “range” as Norwell in terms of FA value just signed a 4 year/40 million contract. Chandler is projected to make ~16.5 million/year. I’ve seen the salary cap really isn’t a thing argument, but where do you see $$ like this coming from? Not trying to be snarky. I’m just wondering why you think these type of deals are achievable.
  12. Fair enough. Some examples of these 1 or 2 “impact” players Buffalo could afford in FA right now? At positions of need, of course. Thanks.
  13. We get it. You don’t like the move for Saffold. You want to make Jacksonville type moves with peanuts for salary cap space? Come on man.
  14. I had french toast sticks and coffee for breakfast. Was going to go for the egg-normous burrito, but I need to be productive today.
  15. This would be a huge get for Cuse. Kick Joe over to SG where he belongs. Q Copeland could play either guard position off the bench while he develops.
  16. I was just saying to my son last night that I was rooting for Duke to win it all. He told me he couldn’t believe those words were coming out of my mouth.
  17. For what little it’s worth, I’m hearing that next season will be Jim Boeheim’s last, and Red Autry is the planned successor 🤷🏾‍♂️
  18. I would tap that ass! With an armed guard in the room. Looks like she has a decent set of knobs on her.
  19. @teef is a gangster ass mofo
  20. Well hello, Buzz Killington! 🧐 Someone wake me when George Seifert’s Datsun is spotted at Buffalo Airport.
  21. Hopefully. I don’t know. 🤷🏾‍♂️
  22. Josh Allen had dinner with Christian Kirk last night 👀
  23. It will be BPA according to their board. This is how Beane and crew have operated the past couple drafts. Plug holes in FA and go BPA. I don’t think many positions, perhaps with the exception of QB and OT, are off the table at 25. I am hoping for CB, IOL or WR in the 1st round. I like Roger McCreary, Jahan Dotson, and Zion Johnson.
