Would absolutely love the Wisconin kid in the 3rd round. I was really impressed with him during Senior Bowl week, and I think he would make a perfect RT. Only problem is that I don't see him playing OG in the NFL. Clive Walford in the 2nd would have me doing back flips.

Even Tuel will get 1st string reps per Roman
Johnny Hammersticks replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And why is this a surprise? Further, why is this a surprise that the new OC would say this in an offseason presser? Reporter: "Uh, is Jeff Tuel going see 1st team rep's?" Roman: "Nah, we already know he isn't going to be playing, and will likely be released, so Tuel will be relegated to water boy duty." C'mon!! -
I know it's not too sexy, but I did some chicken quarters on the grill tonight marinated in Cornell Sauce. Got a tip from my father to put a water pan under the grill grates and cook the chicken on medium heat over the water for 2 1/2 hours. The chicken came out great. I thought it might be soggy on the bottom, but it was nice and crispy all around. It was nice and moist too. I don't think I'll ever cook bone-in chicken over direct flame again.

anybody ever vacation in Cape cod?

Martha's Vineyard is amazing. Take the ferry over, rent a little cottage in Oak Bluffs for the week, and explore the island. Rent a jeep (or a moped if you're feeling frisky) for a day or two. It is so laid back there, and there is so much to do. I used to spend summers there while I'm college waiting tables at a fancy tennis club in Vineyard Haven. Best summers of my life. I still go back with the family almost every summer. You can camp there as well if that's your thing. PM me if you want more details. I know the island very well. -
Just for fun - Walter Football 2016 mock draft
Johnny Hammersticks replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To be fair, Dawson is a tremendous LB and I would pitch a tent in my pants if he fell to us at 50. IMO, he would absolutely be BPA. I think he ends up going in the first round. -
Has there ever, in the history of sports, been such a blatant, publicized attempt by a sports franchise to tank the season for a draft pick? I'm "pro-tank" by the way...I just couldn't think of another comparable example.

I think the "line" between spanking and toddler punching has been pretty well established. I'm sorry...this is absolutely horrible, but the term "toddler punching" has a funny ring to it.

First Bills Game?
Johnny Hammersticks replied to Johnny Hammersticks's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Indeed. I was at game with my Father...I can't remember who we were playing, but I was like 10 or 11 years old. A group of guys in front of us sparked up a joint and began passing it around. My Father is a "live and let live" kind of guy, so he didn't say anything. Well, one of the guys turned around, and with a smile on his face, said "here kid, want a hit?". My Father grabbed the joint, dropped it on the ground, and smooshed it with his boot. The guy did not say a word (my father is a pretty large and intimidating guy), and my Father calmly went back to watching the game. -

He's obviously being facetious.

I doubt the OP is concerned about his stripped screw getting cancer.

Try calling Crutchfield customer service. I have found them to be very helpful. For example, I was looking for a moderately priced home theater system. I spoke with a representative, told them what I was looking for and my price range, and the guy turned me onto a Vizio unit that I am tremendously satisfied with. I didn't even purchase the product from them, as I found it cheaper elsewhere, but the were very courteous and knowledgeable. 1-800-555-7088 FWIW...I have had great success with Alpine car audio products. Reasonably priced and they perform well.

No, Katie was not present, but if she were I would have sent her to get me a warm washcloth and a wooden spoon to bite down on. <South Park>

I took a dump today the size of a hoagie roll. I nearly needed anesthesia during the delivery. If that doesn't inspire people, I don't know what will.

Agreed. Wisconsin's program is built through good coaching, great defense, and strong fundamental players. If guys like Jabari Parker, Karl Towns, and Ben Simmons were beating down his door, I highly doubt that Ryan would turn them away. I found his post-game speech re: officiating and "rental players" to be extremely classless and disrespectful. Surprising from an extremely well-respected head coach who runs a solid character program. I'm sure he regrets his comments even if he truly feels that way.

Meathead I miss the avatar. -
+1 Again, I think 4th-5th round is his appropriate place given his ability as a pure passer. He really needs to sit for a year or two (or three) behind a seasoned veteran.

FA SS Dawan Landry visiting Bills

Hopefully Gilmore and McLovin stay healthy, but if something happens I am more than confident in Corey Graham to fill in. I actually thought he played better than Leodis last season.
