  1. Did I think the 2nd season was as good as the 1st? No. Did I hate the 2nd season? No. I will be eagerly awaiting the 3rd season. You can't hit a home run every time. FWIW...I found Rachel McAdams' character to be the least "believable."
  2. From what I have gathered the man is an absolute menace as a blocker. If Buffalo is to keep 4 TE's (like many speculate), Roman might want one of them to be a skull cracker.
  3. I don't think you have anything to worry about. I think Goodwin is more on the bubble than Hogan.
  4. Is it because you feel obligated to greet him when he's smoking cigs out front?
  5. Did Pootie Tang hack this guy's Twitter account?
  6. Funny...I've been hearing that Gray has been the 2nd best blocking TE in camp, and that O'Leary has struggled somewhat in that department. Mulligan clearly the best blocker of the lot by all accounts. I guess it depends on what you read and who you listen to.
  7. Ahhhh yes. Thank you. I have seen Mulligan on more than one 53 man roster projection. You might be right, although do you think his roster spot might come at the expense of Gragg or O'Leary?
  8. I doubt EJ gets cut outright, as all of his contract is guaranteed. IIRC, however, they could save 4+ million in cap space by releasing Cassel. Anyone know the exact figures?
  9. Manhertz vs Gragg was another one I had to think about. While Manhertz appears to be the superior blocker, and this will be valuable to Roman, I have heard too many good things about Gragg in camp. Who knows though. I think they keep Carrington regardless. His versatility makes him perfect for this defense...being able to line up all over the d-line. Good special teams guy as well.
  10. I think the game is only available streaming online. Not even on NFL Sunday Ticket IIRC.
  11. You make a good point here, but I would consider ditching Brooks for Thigpen or Steward/Tarpley. Still not a fan of keeping Cassel. Thanks!! I gave Goodwin the edge purely because he is always a home run threat. The defense HAS to respect him when he is on the field. I can't imagine them keeping Connor given that he has been injured so much.
  12. There has been a lot of discussion about who will make the 53 man roster, and I have even questioned others about my concerns related to keeping 3 QB's. After much thought, I decided to "put my money where my mouth is," and use my 5,000th post to post my final 53. (2) QB: EJ Manuel, Tyrod Taylor * Yeah, I know....Matt Cassel is starting the first pre-season game. I don't care. IMO...he is not better than EJ or TT, and the thought of him being our starting QB gives me nightmares. Simms to the PS. I know I am going to take a lot of abuse for this. (4) RB: LeSean McCoy, Fred Jackson, Karlos Williams, Boobie Dixon * Bryce Brown fumbles too much. No shocker here to most. (1) FB: Jerome Felton (6) WR: Sammy Watkins, Percy Harvin, Robert Woods, Marcus Easley, Chris Hogan, Marquise Goodwin * I went back and forth between Goodwin and Thigpen about a hundred times here, and I think they keep Goodwin ultimately. (4) TE: Charles Clay, Marquise Gray, Nick O'Leary, Chris Gragg * Gragg, IMO, has done enough to earn that 4th spot, and I don't think they risk putting O'Leary on the PS. (3) OT: Cordy Glenn, Seantrel Henderson, Cyrus Kouandjio (1) OC: Eric Wood (4) OG: Ritchie Incognito, John Miller, Kraig Urbik, Cyril Richardson (4) DE: Mario Williams, Jerry Hughes, Jarius Wynn, Michael Buchanan (5) DT: Marcell Dareus, Kyle Williams, Stefan Charles, Corbin Bryant, Alex Carrington (5) LB: Nigel Bradham, Preston Brown, Ty Powell, Manny Lawson, Randell Johnson * I wanted so badly to keep Steward here, but just couldn't fit him in. Hopefully we can stash him on the PS. (6) CB: Stephon Gilmore, Leodis McKelvin, Ron Darby, Nickell Robey, Ron Brooks, Mario Butler * Cockrell has looked like crap, and Mario Butler seems to be making plays all over the field. (4) S: Aaron Williams, Duke Williams, Corey Graham, Jonathan Meeks (1) K: Dan Carpenter (1) K/O: Jordan Gay * I went back and forth on keeping Gay, but given Carpenter's boo-boo, I think it's crucial to keep him. (1) P: Colton Schmidt (1) LS: Garrison Sanborn Feedback welcome....I can handle it
  13. I guess this was my point. Well stated. "Rapey vibes"? lmao
  14. He added information related to their interactions prior to the alleged incident. I'm not saying it's a "case breaker," but interesting to me nonetheless. Who knows what other information might surface, when combined with the club owner's testimony, might make it challenging for the prosecution to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Kane raped this woman. Jeez...I just said it was interesting what the guy had to say, and you guys think I'm captain rape or something. I have a Mother, Sister, wife, and a daughter for chrissakes.
  15. Always has a pocket full of doggy biscuits wherever he goes.
  16. I'm not saying he is guilty or innocent, but this information certainly will be considered IF this goes to trial. I understand no means no, no matter where or what, but I also know that there are some grimy, scandalous individuals out there. Men and women. It sounds like you already have Kane fit for shackles and a jail cell. Truth is...only Kane and that girl know what happened in that bedroom.
  17. Of the three I would guess Matt Cassel.
  18. No. Happily married to a woman, but thanks for asking. Sheesh...a guy moves to Vermont...
  19. Interesting report from the club owner.
  20. With all due respect to you and Kirby, I'd be interested to see your final 53 with 3 QB's on the roster (2 with arguably very similar skill sets). Which valuable special teams contributors doesn't make it? Boobie? Thigpen? Butler? They're not going to be able to stash Williams or O'Leary on the PS. I'm just throwing this out there...those roster spots are quite valuable. Especially when Simms has PS eligibility. Again, JMO.
  21. Okay, well then who do they cut? EJ or Tyrod? Or do you really think they will keep 3 QB's? I don't think so...
  22. Somewhere a tear rolls down the cheek of Marty McFly.
  23. Anyone who supports Cassel being the starter needs to make the trip to SJF to watch practice. What Cassel possesses in terms of veteran experience is diminished (IMO) by his blatantly apparent ineptitude as a passer. His arm is done. Even if it is a close contest between he and EJ/Tyrod, I think Cassel loses out due to his lack of versatility. I agree with others in that Cassel will be playing for his roster spot on Friday, and I'm excited for others here to actually see him live.
