I respect your perception, but I disagree. I would content that, if anything, Tyrod Taylor has been the most consistent AND has improved the most. Cassel seems to have a decent practice followed by 2 or 3 not so good practices.

I'd like to see Matt Cassel look like he deserves to be our starting QB.

I would contend that Orton lost us quite a few games last year. He was horrible down the stretch. If not for the defense, he might only have won 1 or 2 games. I'd rather roll the dice with Tyrod Taylor and EJ and hope for some excitement than watch Cassel throw 6 yard curl routes all game long because he has a dead arm. JMO though.

Dang Cletus! I really like Big Ben this year. He has a pretty good year this year, and I hear he is really playing well under Todd Haley. How did you get Jamaal Charles and Julio Jones?

Is it worth 4+ million to keep a QB who has yet to clearly establish himself as the starter? I mean, you'd think a guy worth that kind of coin would have separated himself from the others by now. No? Also, Cassel hasn't really done anything since 2010. Is my prediction that far off base?

Happy day you lefties!! Maybe you all can help me out with a question I have. My son writes and colors with his right hand, but shows left handed preference for sports (i.e., lacrosse, hockey, baseball). Ho does throw a baseball with his right hand, but insist (and hits better) batting right. Did you all experience any right/left handed confusion growing up?

Not a big fan of swordfish, but my wife asked me to grill her some this summer. Brushed with mixture of olive oil, salt, pepper, lemon juice, garlic, basil and mint. I stole the recipe from the intermawebs. It came out pretty good.

Funny...I've been hearing that Gray has been the 2nd best blocking TE in camp, and that O'Leary has struggled somewhat in that department. Mulligan clearly the best blocker of the lot by all accounts. I guess it depends on what you read and who you listen to.

Ahhhh yes. Thank you. I have seen Mulligan on more than one 53 man roster projection. You might be right, although do you think his roster spot might come at the expense of Gragg or O'Leary?

I doubt EJ gets cut outright, as all of his contract is guaranteed. IIRC, however, they could save 4+ million in cap space by releasing Cassel. Anyone know the exact figures?

Manhertz vs Gragg was another one I had to think about. While Manhertz appears to be the superior blocker, and this will be valuable to Roman, I have heard too many good things about Gragg in camp. Who knows though. I think they keep Carrington regardless. His versatility makes him perfect for this defense...being able to line up all over the d-line. Good special teams guy as well.
