  1. What the hell do you want? JC Jackson for the vet minimum? Chandler Jones to play for unlimited wings? Jesus! When you have very little cap room, a very good roster, and quite of few core players coming up soon for new contracts….you add value depth pieces in free agency. I don’t get what’s so hard to comprehend. Did you not learn math ever?
  2. If you read the entire OP, it actually makes sense. He’s mainly referring to those FAs (such as Saffold/Landry) who are in the “twilight of their careers,” but still have a couple good playing years left in them. They already have had 2 or more good contracts, so $ may be less important to them than winning. Take a guy like Christian Kirk who could have probably signed a 8-9 million dollar/year deal in Buffalo and have a legit shot to win a chip. Now he’ll be making ~17 million/year playing for the Jags 🤢🤮 It depends on the FA and where they are with their careers, IMO.
  3. But why kick the can down the road with important players such as Knox, Oliver and Edmunds (debatable) approaching the time for new deals? I just don’t understand your logic with the way Beane has always handled free agency.
  4. I mean Alex Cappa, who many consider to be in the same “range” as Norwell in terms of FA value just signed a 4 year/40 million contract. Chandler is projected to make ~16.5 million/year. I’ve seen the salary cap really isn’t a thing argument, but where do you see $$ like this coming from? Not trying to be snarky. I’m just wondering why you think these type of deals are achievable.
  5. Fair enough. Some examples of these 1 or 2 “impact” players Buffalo could afford in FA right now? At positions of need, of course. Thanks.
  6. We get it. You don’t like the move for Saffold. You want to make Jacksonville type moves with peanuts for salary cap space? Come on man.
  7. I had french toast sticks and coffee for breakfast. Was going to go for the egg-normous burrito, but I need to be productive today.
  8. This would be a huge get for Cuse. Kick Joe over to SG where he belongs. Q Copeland could play either guard position off the bench while he develops.
  9. I was just saying to my son last night that I was rooting for Duke to win it all. He told me he couldn’t believe those words were coming out of my mouth.
  10. For what little it’s worth, I’m hearing that next season will be Jim Boeheim’s last, and Red Autry is the planned successor 🤷🏾‍♂️
  11. I would tap that ass! With an armed guard in the room. Looks like she has a decent set of knobs on her.
  12. @teef is a gangster ass mofo
  13. Well hello, Buzz Killington! 🧐 Someone wake me when George Seifert’s Datsun is spotted at Buffalo Airport.
  14. Hopefully. I don’t know. 🤷🏾‍♂️
  15. Josh Allen had dinner with Christian Kirk last night 👀
  16. It will be BPA according to their board. This is how Beane and crew have operated the past couple drafts. Plug holes in FA and go BPA. I don’t think many positions, perhaps with the exception of QB and OT, are off the table at 25. I am hoping for CB, IOL or WR in the 1st round. I like Roger McCreary, Jahan Dotson, and Zion Johnson.
  17. Thx all. Had a pretty good birthday. Watched my son’s hockey game and then got some really excellent Chinese food. Wife got me tix to see John Mulaney in June so I’m pumped about that. Can confirm that Exiled and I are not twins. I don’t even know if we’re the same species 🤔
  18. I thought it was his knee, but it was his quad tendon. Wasn’t it Blake Griffin who ran through us in the tourney that year? Arinze would have had something for him.
  19. I came very close to drowning while fishing at a dam down the street from my house. Slipped on some ice and fell into the rapids directly underneath the waterfall. Instead of pushing me out and away from the dam, the water kept pushing me down and into the wall. After what seemed like 30-40 seconds the current finally pushed me downstream and I was able to climb up onto the shore. It was early spring, so the water was also very, very cold. I was very lucky on that day.
  20. 20 gauge Mossberg pump shotgun loaded with #6 bird shot.
  21. I think @teef has the low down on a good Mexican joint in Rochester, IIRC.
  22. Jahan Dotson might be that guy. Not a big WR, but should run ~4.3 40. Great production at Penn State 90+ receptions and 12 TDs this season. Great route runner. Great hands (I believe he only had 1 or 2 drops this season). I believe he returns punts too. Would take our 1st round pick though...if he’s still there at 25.
