  1. I wonder if Beane is pounding the table for this guy?
  2. I should have also noted that I do have a regular workout partner. A friend of mine who has similar goals in terms weight loss, strength training, and diet. It helps tremendously. If I get lazy and decide I don’t want to go to the gym one day it doesn’t just impact me…it also impacts his routine. That has been really motivating.
  3. If you’re anything like me, get a gym membership somewhere. I have a treadmill and an elliptical in my basement along with a bunch of free weights. All collecting dust. I need to get out of the house to really focus on my workout. I also get a lot of good tips from others and learn a lot. I’ve lost almost 30 pounds since September when I started at the gym. Mainly light weight training, and loads of cardio. Changed my diet up quite a bit also. I pack my lunch for work so I’m not convenience eating garbage food all the time, and I rarely ever eat anything substantial after dinner anymore. Cut down on beer and wine quite a bit. Good luck!
  4. Interesting take. I’ve always found Kay to be quite effusive in her praise of Josh Allen.
  5. Ah, yes. Yeah, my mom had an apartment like 3 doors down from the Park Ave location back in the day. I remember the building kind of looked like one of the houses from the Hobbit.
  6. I thought it was Zeb’s. There was one right around the corner from my mom’s house and the hot dogs were awesome.
  7. You shut your dirty ***** mouth! 😁
  8. I go there at least a couple times a year. Usually a group of us HS friends catch a Syracuse basketball game at MSG and make a long weekend out of it. I take the train in from Poughkeepsie which makes the trip much easier, and we always stay at the Chelsea Savoie Hotel because it’s clean and cheap. I will say that after 3-4 days I’m ready to GTFO tho. Can be very overwhelming.
  9. Cole be gone 👋 I was thinking why he would want to leave with a year left and a primary role on the team. Then I was thinking…if I had my degree, and no realistic NBA potential, I’d go and get my $ in Europe while I could too. Going to be a very young team next year.
  10. I am so confused by your post. So are we to keep poking fun at the situation bc we all could use a good laugh right now, or just let it go because Will Smith is sad? Also what does “ad infinitum” and “whipty doodle doo” mean?
  11. Wait, what?! Why would I need to stock up on food?
  12. Come to the light, Carol Anne 😱
  13. This is BIG. I hope Swider and Benny stay.
  14. Word around the campfire is that, very recently, the coaching staff has been given cause for hope. We'll find out tomorrow at 4:00. I've sent out the "bat signal" to the one connection I have left on the hill that gets reliable information. Haven't heard back yet.
  15. It was real. Rock was all choked up as he tried to transition to the next award. Will Smith is nuttier than squirrel turds, and is lucky Chris Rock is a solid, old-school dude who wouldn’t press charges or sue.
  16. IIRC, Jim has already said that Buddy is gone regardless. The jury is still out on Jimmy Junior. I haven’t heard anything definitive, but I trust @DCOrange and his sources.
  17. I think it is more common than you think. I played a college sport which helped a lot. I had 35 friends before I even stepped on campus. Girls came to our parties and wanted to be around us. I wasn’t the most outgoing or “coolest” kid in HS, but I played sports and I was kind to others, so I had a lot of friends of all different types. I consider myself to be an extroverted introvert. I can “work the room” and feel comfortable in any social setting, but I’d much prefer to be my myself most of the time.
  18. Nah, I made lots of friends right away. Also crushed tons of pusss. College was the best 7 years of my life. To the OP, did you ever actually try to hang out on campus other than during the day? I knew commuters who never hung out at night or on the weekends. Also knew people who lived on campus and went home every weekend. I never understood that…
  19. Good thing we have like 8 picks and not a lot of needs. Agreed about the dire need for CB2, but Beane will have the picks to maneuver around in a draft that’s pretty deep with CBs. Also, Beane seems to have a knack at finding good DB’s in the mid-late rounds. I completely trust him. I just like Dotson a lot, and would be thrilled to land him at 25. Your point is understood though.
  20. Man…I’ve been watching a lot of Jahan Dotson highlights lately and I think he might be my favorite WR in the draft. He’s deceptively fast and explosive. Great route runner. Love the way he catches the ball. Not the most physically imposing guy, but he’s going to be a problem in the NFL, IMHO. I’d be thrilled with him at 25.
  21. Not a bad signing for potential IOL depth. I don’t think this has as much to do with Bates as it does with losing Mongo. From what I have read, he fits well technique wise with what Kromer wants to do.
  22. I got it WR, CB, IOL 😁 Treylon Burks/Jahan Dotson/Jameson Williams Andrew Booth/Kaiir Elam/Roger McCreary/Kyler Gordon
  23. Mine was not driving but on a boat. A shrimping boat. You see, my friend Bubba had a dream to be a shrimping boat captain, and when he died I felt compelled to fulfill his dream. People called me crazy, but I didn’t listen. But shrimping was hard! That is until Lieutenant Dan came down to the bayou to help. He was a troubled man. Anyway, the sea was angry that night my friend. 80 mph winds, 20-30’ swells, rain as hard as momma’s fryin’ pan. I don’t know how we made it out alive, but I think Lieutenant Dan made his peace with god that night.
  24. You draft a ***** punter at 25, that’s how! 😂 Personally, I’d like to go offensive skill position (WR, RB, TE) with our first 2 picks 🤷🏾‍♂️
  25. Right. Isn’t it a good feeling that we really don’t “need” to go out and spend a ton of cash in FA? Our biggest needs now, arguably, are CB, WR and NT (maybe lesser so after Tim Settle signing?). Nice to be able to swing for the fences with every one of our picks in the draft.
