  1. Why? Let's suppose we split with the Jets. We then have the Patriots @ Foxboro which is a tough one. Then we have the Chiefs, Texans, Eagles, Redskins, and Cowboys....followed by the Jets again. The way things are shaping up in the AFC, I think 9 wins gets us in the playoffs. It is entirely conceivable that both wild cards come out of the AFCE, IMO.
  2. I'm glad it worked out in your favor. Seems like you have a fairly decent chance. I think Rivers and Woodhead both have huge games. Jeffery is a ? for me, as SD seems to have a pretty solid secondary. Gould might be the key to you pulling out the victory. I am in a similar situation this week. I am currently up by 12 points (standard scoring). I have Robbie Gould, and my opponent has Malcolm Floyd. I'm feeling pretty confident, but you never know.
  3. I've been hearing that the frosh, Richardson, looks to be something special. A close friend of mine, who is also a college basketball coach, texted me after the game yesterday and said that he thought that Richardson has the "smoothest shooting stroke" that he has seen since G-Mac. I think he is going to be a force. He also said that Lydon was all over the ball, and seems to have well developed court sense. I think Cuse is going to sneakily make some waves in the ACC this year. A lot of this hinges, however, on the health of DC2, IMO. Chino still looks very "lost" out there.
  4. A bit of a tangent here, but I love Danny Woodhead moving forward because of the Allen injury. Especially in PPR. Scoop him if you can.
  5. Gosh....they are both fantastic plays this week. I'd stay with Rivers. I think he's averaging like 50 pass attempts per week or something like that.
  6. Yeah, you're probably toast this week. Keep Sammy around. If healthy, I view him as a solid WR2/flex play for the rest of the season. Point has been made...I expect him to get his targets.
  7. If he's active I would start him. Especially if not starting him means having to release him.
  8. Good lord! Who is this?
  9. I suspect you will be singing a different tune after this week. At least I hope so, and I understand your skepticism. Getting back so many starters on offense, however, gives me hope. Go Bills!
  10. Whoever traded him Aaron Rodgers for Darren McFadden and Andrew Luck should be kicked out of your league.
  11. Actually it did seem to be working last night....that is if I'm interpreting Pooj's comment correctly. Having a perimeter shooting game causes defenders to actually extend out and defend those shooters, which opens up the middle of the floor for players like Cooney to "slash" to the rim and make plays. Which he did at least a couple times last night.....against LeMoyne.
  12. Well, this is a fresh idea for a thread. I was just thinking that we needed another fire Whaley thread too.
  13. This analogy is apt and made me laugh. Well done.
  14. Thanks for clearing that up, and good post.
  15. Wait...are you calling the thread stupid, or me stupid? Punctuation is important.
  16. Cassel sucks too? Yet you've been crusading in another thread for Whaley to be fired for his part in trading Cassel to Dallas? Makes sense.
  17. Fire Whaley immediately for this Cassel debacle.
  18. If not for the defense, we never would have even been close to up 4 points with 3 minutes to go. 4 cracks from the one yard like and the defense held? That awful call on 3rd and 15 that was a great play and would have gotten us off the field and sealed the game? They rose to the occasion, and played much better today. You should give credit where credit it due, is my point.
  19. Anyone who blames the defense for the loss today needs to have their head examined. I mean, really? Did you not watch the game. The defense was very good today, IMO. Hell, I even thought Rambo/Williams held their own. Finally got pressure on the QB.
  20. Yeah, I love watching through the London fog on my 1,500 dollar television. Thanks NFL.
  21. Because he also sucks. And was clearly outperformed in every facet by EJ in the preseason. Hindsight is 20/20 bud.
  22. Tyrod Taylor? How about missing our starting QB, our top 2 WR's, our 2nd RB, and our starting right side of our offensive line? Yeah, let's fire Whaley for EJ sucking. Good take.
