  1. Agreed. Mrs. Hammer and I have been on several, and never a bad experience. Hit some pretty rough seas coming back from Nassau one time, but we still had a blast eating, drinking, and gambling in the casino. You can score some great deals on cruises.
  2. I love him for safety depth at the right price, just as long as he never, ever fields a punt again. I still think Buffalo goes safety in round 1 or 2...especially given the uncertainty surrounding AW.
  3. I think Sanu would be a good FA get, but I think he would really like Roman's scheme as it would maximize his versatile skill set. The guy is a more than capable #2 WR (IMO), but also can line up all over the field for screens/designed runs as you stated. Hell, he can even throw the ball every once in a while. Good blocker too. Roman would love him.
  4. Missed foul shots are absolutely killing us as well. 16-25 as a team from the charity stripe is a good way to lose every conference game. Pitiful...especially Gbinije.
  5. I actually thought they played their best game since Atlantis, and I loved the DC2, Lydon 5-4 lineup. If not for foul trouble I think they would have won. Really liked seeing the guards driving to the basket more and shoot fewer 3's. Moving forward, IMO, Chino is going to have to get 8-10 minutes/game for this team to be successful in conference play.
  6. My wife watches that real b$&@hes of Atlanta show, and apparently Duke used to date on of those classy women. Anyway, she said there was talk on the show of Duke being sexually "involved" with some tranny. FWIW... Edit: Found this... http://diaryofahollywoodstreetking.com/duke-williams-tranny/
  7. This might fit nicely in the negative thread.
  8. I saw on Twitter today that "sources" say Pettine is safe in Cleveland. Ray Farmer will be the scapegoat. FWIW
  9. Initially I thought you were trolling, but this makes perfect sense. Not the player, but the financial impact.
  10. Never ask a woman if she is pregnant....never, ever. Learned this the hard way.
  11. Julius Ceaczar? I haven't slept much in the past 48 hours, and for some reason the excessive use of the word czar is funny to me right now. Don't mind me...
  12. Czar czar czar czar czar czar czar czar czar czar czar czar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Drew Brees is going to love that high-octane Nate Hackett offense.
  14. Whaley is one of the things that is right with this organization. Never could understand the misguided negative perception. The guy's job is to bring in talented players. He can't control the way they play or the way the coaches coach.
  15. Well I could be wrong, but I believe continuity is an old, old wooden ship used during the civil war.
  16. Don't get your hopes up. I'm sure Edmonton will win it.
  17. Pretty sure Sal was reviewing the 2002 season.
  18. Sunny and high of 64 in Syracuse, NY. Bizarre...
  19. Karlos Williams Latavious Murray AJ Green Bilal Powell
  20. I forget the exact statistics, but opposing TE rec. yards/game increased exponentially after Bradham went down.
  21. Fix the offensive line, find a better WR to compliment Watkins, draft a QB to groom. Brilliant! Let Polian consult. Why not?
  22. I don't know, and I doubt anyone does because Rex Ryan clearly calls the shots on defense. Who knows what the defense would look like if Dennis had complete control? Edit: Similarly, how could one properly evaluate Curtis Modkins' performance as OC under Gailey?
  23. Why would Thurman be the fall guy? He is just a figurehead DC, and everybody knows it. Firing him would be an insult to the collective intelligence of the fan base. I think Crossman gets shown the door, and I see a gutting of the roster coming. Perhaps, someone gets brought in as a "czar" consultant type role. Edit: Sorry, to respond directly to the OP...I could see Rob brought in as a position coach, but surely not as DC.
  24. A face that could make a train take a dirt road. Git in there, Pooj.
  25. My wife sometimes lacks a sense of humor! When she buys my Mother-in-law a Fitbit for Christmas, and while wrapping it I jokingly refer to it as a "Fatbutt," how dare she be angry with me??!! Pure comedy gold...
