  1. You make a good point. Let me get my man JB on the horn and get some answers.
  2. He sure can sling it. Seems comfortable in the pocket and made a couple nice throws on the run. I don't know enough about him to furmulate an opinion, but he looks promising.
  3. I think he will play and play hard. After all, he is auditioning for other teams at this point. If I were Rex I would make him watch from the bench.
  4. I could be mistaken, but it is my understanding that Coleman has one year of eligibility left due to his medical red shirt last season. He could play next season as a first year graduate student.
  5. He's a kid and kids make stupid mistakes. Just sayin...
  6. Miller needs all the snaps he can get. Like it or not, he is the current RG of the future. He has had ups and downs this season, has dealt with injuries, and his status for the foreseeable future remains to be seen. To early to give up on a rookie offensive lineman. As for Tyrod and Sammy...they're healthy they play. It's not as if Buffalo is cruising into the playoffs. It would be an insult to all the fans who pay good money to sit these guys in week 17 with a chance to knock that Jets out of the playoffs. Are you for real?
  7. Well, losing and being out of running for the playoffs never helps morale.
  8. I think it's pretty obvious why he is unhappy. He goes from playing in 2 defensive systems that allowed him to do what he gets paid the big bucks for...chase the QB, to a system where he is relegated to holding the edge in running situations and dropping into coverage against TE's and sometimes even WR's. He had 13 sacks in 2013 and 14.5 in 2014. Was a pro-bowler and 1st team all-pro in 2014. This season he has 4 sacks. I totally get why he has become a malcontent.
  9. I think the front runner has to be the NYG. Plenty of money to burn, big market/desirable location, and a defense away from a run at the title.
  10. I'm partial to D'Quariusness McGloin Triceritops from San Diego. Little known back-up, but I hear he can really run the heck out of a route tree.
  11. Boom. Once again can count on Bangarang for some perspective. Alabama's defense is silly good. I wasn't tremendously impressed with Cook tonight, but he did make some decent throws and seems to have good awareness in pocket. He also throws a nice ball. Again, haven't made my mind up about Cook but I trust our talent evaluators to make good draft decisions.
  12. Rather have Chuck Norris. Seriously though, I would be shocked if Thurman went anywhere (even within the organization) after only one year. Firing or demoting Rex's DC would be an insult to the collective intelligence of this fan base. I do like Pagano though.
  13. You wouldn't get just a little tiny bit of satisfaction knocking the Jets, a division rival, out of the playoffs? Common man!
  14. Teams interviewing Marrone for their HC'ing positions are merely fulfilling their Rooney Rule requirements. Little known sub-clause of the RR requires teams to interview at least one mentally disabled quitter, crybaby prior to making a hire. Nothing to see here.
  15. I think we will win at home. Rex ownes Chan Gailey, and I suspect that he will unleash the dogs on Fitz. It will be close, however, and Marshall/Decker should have huge games.
  16. Agreed. Mrs. Hammer and I have been on several, and never a bad experience. Hit some pretty rough seas coming back from Nassau one time, but we still had a blast eating, drinking, and gambling in the casino. You can score some great deals on cruises.
  17. I love him for safety depth at the right price, just as long as he never, ever fields a punt again. I still think Buffalo goes safety in round 1 or 2...especially given the uncertainty surrounding AW.
  18. I think Sanu would be a good FA get, but I think he would really like Roman's scheme as it would maximize his versatile skill set. The guy is a more than capable #2 WR (IMO), but also can line up all over the field for screens/designed runs as you stated. Hell, he can even throw the ball every once in a while. Good blocker too. Roman would love him.
  19. Missed foul shots are absolutely killing us as well. 16-25 as a team from the charity stripe is a good way to lose every conference game. Pitiful...especially Gbinije.
  20. I actually thought they played their best game since Atlantis, and I loved the DC2, Lydon 5-4 lineup. If not for foul trouble I think they would have won. Really liked seeing the guards driving to the basket more and shoot fewer 3's. Moving forward, IMO, Chino is going to have to get 8-10 minutes/game for this team to be successful in conference play.
  21. My wife watches that real b$&@hes of Atlanta show, and apparently Duke used to date on of those classy women. Anyway, she said there was talk on the show of Duke being sexually "involved" with some tranny. FWIW... Edit: Found this... http://diaryofahollywoodstreetking.com/duke-williams-tranny/
  22. This might fit nicely in the negative thread.
  23. I saw on Twitter today that "sources" say Pettine is safe in Cleveland. Ray Farmer will be the scapegoat. FWIW
  24. Initially I thought you were trolling, but this makes perfect sense. Not the player, but the financial impact.
  25. Never ask a woman if she is pregnant....never, ever. Learned this the hard way.
