  1. ^^^^ Love me some Tyrod. I hope the Bills lock him up soon.
  2. Take the pain train to Brown Town!! Choo Choo!!!'
  3. I say too early to evalute due to the small sample size, and the team was playing like doodie anyway right after Atlantis pretty much until JB returned (and then they stunk again after about 7 games). I think Hop has earned a full shot at taking over for JB regardless of the results of his short stint as interim HC.
  4. Props to UNC. Those late 3's by Paige were killers. Mike G was the bad Mike G last night turning the ball over left and right. No magic left in the tank, unfortunately. I don't dislike UNC one bit, but I'm pulling for Nova to win it all. Jay Wright is a class act, and I gotta cheer for the old Big East. Whatever happens it was a great tourney.
  5. I'll take a stab at it. He's an immature, egotistical a**hole. He'll mesh well with the current players/coaches in New England.
  6. Yeah...I'm doubtful as well, however, I never in a million years thought they'd get past Virginia. And they shot the ball like absolute doodie in the first half in that game. This is a different Syracuse team than we saw in the regular season and conference tourney. I don't know why or how it happened, but they are. Especially defensively. We'll just have to see what happens.
  7. Crazy sex might make that baby come sooner than later.
  8. Of course, tons of fluids, vitamin C, remove carbs and sugars from diet, and plenty of rest. Also, my Mother always gave us a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water a few times per day. Not sure why it works, but it seems to do the trick. I am not a doctor, but I did stay at a Comfort Inn last night.

  10. Nope, we are not banned from the tourney next year. Plus, we actually got scholarships back, and at present, we still have one open for 2016. I think they still have a decent shot at Taureen Thompson.
  11. Agreed. Although Brice Johnson is not human, and I see him being a very good pro as well.
  12. JB said in post game speech that this is the team he is most proud of over his 40 year career. I believe him. MVP's to Richardson and Lydon. Boeheim with a masterful coaching effort. LGO!!!
  13. I actually hear what the guy's saying and I am empathetic to a degree. I think it's disrespectful, however, for him to assert that we can't be "real fans" because we are not SU alums. I think maybe it's time for bbb to start his own thread and stop crusading here. Anyway...moving on. I'm so freaking pumped!! Go ORANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' I need to lay off the gin and tonics and deviled eggs...haha.
  14. Yeah, Virginia is a tough, well rounded squad, and Bennett has them playing great basketball. I'm trying to remain optimistic, but this is a difficult matchup for Syracuse. I'd rather them play UNC to be honest. We'll see...
  15. If you can't handle a little bit of gentle teasing, then maybe you shouldn't frequent a Syracuse basketball thread to talk smack. Your team didn't get selected, perhaps unjustly, but then lost to a D-III team in the NIT. Grow up.
  16. Yeah. I've been fine with your presence in this thread until now. Hell, my Sister is even a Bona alum and I respect the program, but you sir can go kick rocks.
  17. The wife and I went to Cantina de Salsa when we were there this past summer. Really great little Mexican restaurant.
  18. Hmmmm. Drink the entire bottle. If you're not really, really hammered kick your roommate in the pills.
  19. Very few things are "standard" in Vermont. This is a rule that was imposed by the Vermont Principals Association; the governing body for HS athletics in the state.
  20. I guess I just have a different perception of HS sports based on my experience. The HS I went to in CNY was a state power house. We were contending for section/state titles just about every season. We beat most teams handily. But my coach preached character and class, and would never run up the score intentionally on some lowly team. Now giving 3rd/4th stringers the green light to fire away is one thing. The those kids come to practice every day, work hard, and deserve to score goals for their efforts. Calling time out with a running clock when there is 5 seconds to go (up 22 goals) so your goalie can score is classless and despicable. In HS, if my team was up more than 10 goals with 5 minutes left we would get the "red light" call from coach. Just passing....no shooting. Teaches young student-athletes good character, and shows respect for their (albeit vastly inferior) opponent.
  21. In HS lacrosse the clock keeps running once a team is ahead by 12 goals. I think it's a good thing. Last season we were playing a prep school team that was far more talented that us. With about 30 seconds left in the game, up 22 goals, the opposing coach called time out so his goalie could get an offensive stick and try to score a goal. The kid won the face off, carried the ball right down the middle of the field, and stuck a goal right in the top corner with about 5 seconds left. Insult to injury. It took a great deal of restraint to keep me from punching this coach in the face, and the turd had the colossal stones to tell me I had "no class" for refusing to shake his hand after the game.
  22. Nice! The wings are schiitt in my town. Tough first half with both teams shooting streaky. Roberson actually looks like he came to play, however, and Malachi is looking like a force, per usual. Live and die by the three...not a good formula for success in the tourney.
