  1. "I'm the Anti-Christ. You've got me in a vendetta kind of mood. You tell the angels in heaven you've never seen evil so singularly personified as you did in the face of the man who killed you." Vincenzo Coccotti (Chris Walken) True Romance
  2. They're not hot because of him. He had two daughters born who resembled him, but they were promptly left in the wild to be eaten by wolves.
  3. Put a tie, and a "Make America Great Again" hat on it. Instant, hilarious Halloween costume.
  4. This is just not fair for Chelsea. Damn...Ivanka is smokin.
  5. I'm so excited to see anything other than Patsies gear here in Vermont. Any time I see someone wearing Bills gear I make sure to go out of my way to give them the "GO BILLS!"
  6. If you do it right you don't have to haggle. They actually give you "credits" on your account for being a good customer. All you need to do, really, is ask to use them. There is absolutely no need to threaten cancellation, be nasty, or make up stories. I think the mistake people sometimes make when calling DTV is that they try too hard.
  7. Double gross. The kid is going to come out looking like George Hamilton.
  8. You did say that you have 2 years remaining on your contract, so if you made the call around the same time last year I suppose there is a chance that you do not have any "credits" available. Still, it amazes me that they won't do anything to placate you. Wow...sorry man. You could always call up in a couple days and say something like "I talked with my wife and she does not want to switch satellite services. I would like to revoke my request to cancel my service. However, financially I am having trouble justifying paying this much for television. Is there anything you can you do for me?"
  9. Charlie Palmer Steak...across from the capital building. Stop in, ask for Jeff the chef, and tell him the Bills fan with the long balls sent you. He will laugh and then feed you well.
  10. WTF?! I was just talking to a friend who is the executive chef at a restaurant in DC, and he said they have hired a security guard to keep the Pokemon Go weirdos out of the building. He said they just wander in and meander around the freaking dining room with their phones. Wow.
  11. If you ever get a representative that is being a jerk, politely ask to speak to their supervisor. I have found that you can usually get better deals as you go up the ladder. Again, being calm and polite is key, IMO.
  12. Wow. I've never heard of DTV calling anyone's bluff before. Usually they will go to great lengths to keep customers happy. I have found that being polite (not that you were not) to the CS representative. I usually go with the "DISH is offering a great deal" approach, but that may not be the way to go this year. My 2 year contract will expire at the end of July, so I was thinking that I would get a boatload of credits plus an equipment upgrade. This post makes me nervous though...
  13. Wow. We probably were in the same HS class. '97?
  14. This is the sad truth. Love Gilmore, but a good QB is so hard to find and Darby is going to be in line for a huge payday in a few years.
  15. I just got an Asiago ranch chicken sandwich combo from Wendy's. It cost me over $10 to upgrade to the large size (and I added a small frosty for my son), and the sandwich and fries tasted like absolute crap. I'd gladly fork over the extra 5 bucks for something that tastes as good as 5 Guys.
  16. My home town... http://auburnpub.com/news/local/auburn-police-driver-crashes-into-tree-while-playing-pokemon-go/article_0a8ab3aa-94b2-5cc6-93cd-a273311818ca.html
  17. I watched episode 1 of season 3 of Peaky Blinders on Netflix last night. If you are not watching this show, I have no idea what the hell you are doing with your lives. Very, very good stuff.
  18. citizen's arrest...is that really a thing? I thought it was just a goof from that Police Academy movie.
  19. Ewwww....no. I bet I can still come up with a few.
  20. As long as I complete my evaluations/reports, and show up to meetings, I work whatever hours I want. During slow times of the year I might not show up to work all week. During busy times of the year I will work from 7:30-4:00 in the schools, and then write 2-3 reports after the kids go to bed. Finally, I only work from the last week in August until the second week in June.
  21. Lagunitas is a little more expensive here in VT. I love it, but only drink it occasionally. Six pack runs $12+. I can get other local IPA's that are cheaper and quite solid. I wish Fiddlehead IPA was more accessible outside of VT. If I ever make the opener, I will definitely bring a case. A 750ml of Bacardi here is 19.99. I was just at the liquor store and bought a bottle.
