  1. Manhattans are like boobs. One is not enough, and three are too many.
  2. There are 8 of them, it appears. http://www.gotastewine.com/ak-wineries.php
  3. Depends where you are going in Alaska. Alaskan Beer Company products (Juneau) can be found all over the state. Their Icy Bay IPA is pretty delicious. In Anchorage, visit the Glacier Brewhouse Restaurant and enjoy their wide variety of craft beers. In the Denali National Park, the 49th State Brewing Company is very solid. And in Fairbanks, just about 15 miles to the north in Fox is the Silver Gulch Brewery. If all else fails...Jack Daniels, Jim Beam and Jameson.
  4. That cooler you describe sounds interesting. I had a horrible time finding Brooklyn Summer here in VT. Ended up bringing back 5 cases that I bought while home in CNY. Pretty soon we'll start to see pumpkin beers on the shelves. So frustrating.
  5. I tend to be fairly consistent in my summer drinking. Although there is some fluctuation from year to year, I usually find a few different summer cocktails/beers and stick with them. This summer I'm drinking gin and grapefruit, vodka and blood orange Sanpellegrino (so tasty), and for beer I've been drinking Brooklyn Summer and Lagunitas Down Low Ale. What are you y'all sippin on this summer?
  6. ...and what exactly did you do to help the cause, good sir?
  7. I love the summer olympics. Especially track/field, gymnastics, and swimming. I am legitimately concerned, however, about the safety and well-being of these athletes. I think some crazy schitt is gonna go down.
  8. Karlos Williams is rumored to have been on MSG.
  9. IIRC, those teams during the super bowl years didn't win too many preseason games. 0-4....championship!
  10. No, I skimmed the article and jumped to false conclusions. I'm sorry. She does look like a nerd though. I wonder if they actually caught anyone who came to search for that Pokemon?
  11. I would say yes, Taylor is better than Tannehill.
  12. If you don't like the thread, don't post here. Simple as that...
  13. Interesting take re: Bush/Powell. I could totally see Reggie getting cut in favor of Powell who, IMO, has really looked good. I guess it may come down to who is the better punt returner.
  14. Ha! That is good stuff right there. You're under arrest, nerd!
  15. FWIW...Groy subbed for Wood during 11:11's when Wood had to run his lap for false start. I see Gilly ahead of Wilder for RB depth.
  16. Shady Uncle Karlos Bush Gilley JWill
  17. Wasn't impressed with Wilder on Monday. He just has this awkward running style, and doesn't look very quick. He seems to run too "upright" kinda like Dickerson or George, but without being nearly as talented as Dickerson or George. JWill had one nice carry that I saw during 11:11's. He ran off tackle, set up his blocks well, and hit the hole quickly for a nice gain. Other than that, I didn't even notice him out there.
  18. I floss every night before bed out of habit, but I think the necessity of flossing depends on your teeth. I have two different spots in my mouth (one bottom molar and one top incisor) that seem to collect food material. Especially when I eat meat. Those are the only two areas that I really need to floss. If I didn't floss those two areas there surely would be some decay. My other teeth are tight enough together where food does not get stuck. It takes 15 seconds...why not?
  19. Secret Life of Pets was really, really well done. Take it from a guy with two young children. They enjoyed it immensely, and I thought it was really funny. There were more than a few times when I was laughing so hard I had tears rolling down my face (probably in part from watching my kids crack up). I thought Bourne was pretty good. It was what I have come to expect from Bourne. Fight scene, brief dialogue, car/motorcycle chase, wash...rinse...repeat. I walked away from the theater satisfied. My favorite Bourne is actually the one with Jeremy Renner. Worth seeing in the theatre, IMO, but definitely worth a rental.
  20. Goodwin looked very good on Monday. Ran very good routes and caught everything. Tyrod looked his way a lot.
  21. Thanks, man. Lack of OT depth, especially LT depth, IS very concerning. Henderson, if healthy, could kick over there in a pinch and hold his own, IMO. Big question mark though. Has Mills played LT? I see that Velasco is listed as a back up LT on some depth charts. Has he even played OT before? I know he has long arms for an OG.
  22. He was perfect yesterday, but missed 2 today. One was shanked really badly to the left. It's tough being a kicker in the NFL.
  23. Just left. Will report later on my "notes." Just wanted to say that Tyrod is an absolute class act. One of the few players to sign autographs after practice. He stayed until every last person who wanted one got an autograph. Took pictures with anyone who asked. What a humble and generous person. lmao....I don't blame you.
  24. I'm certainly no Astro, but I'll try my best to write up a little narrative about what I saw today.
