  1. Huge breakfast. Probably a trip to the park with the kids or something like that. Bloody Mary's and mimosas followed by some choice local beers for the game. During the game, tequila shots for touchdowns only not field goals (superstition). My wife is making taco dip for the game, and baked potato soup for dinner. Should be a good day. I don't think we are going to win, but I also thought Arizona was going to demolish us. Go Bills!!
  2. This is interesting. I liked this kid a lot at Tennessee, and he had a pretty good stretch there in Tennessee. I remember wanting Buffalo to draft him. I wonder what happened? He's definitely one of those "open when he's not open" type of receiver. Speedy, tall, good catching radius, and a pretty good natural hands catcher. Anyone know where things went awry with him? Injury? Character stuff?
  3. Sage advice, my friend. I'm all about the tiny house movement. Can I poop in a bucket next to my cardboard bed mat?
  4. Thanks for this. All booked up for the dates I need, but thanks. Good as a last resort. Any advice as to good places in the city to get an empty refrigerator box?
  5. I guess my budget is around 250/night max. I could spend more, but really, I'm only going to be sleeping at the place. Thanks for the suggestions. I'm looking into the Hoboken/Jersey City options right now, and the hotels seem to be more reasonable. When is the Hoboken PATH train station supposed to open? That would make things much easier if I chose to stay in NJ. The AAA rate for this place for the dates I need is 420/night includes all fees. Yikes!! You must have got a great deal.
  6. I'm not all that impressed with Garoppolo or Brissett. Don't really care who we face.
  7. Can you be more specific as to the area?
  8. Bills - 13 Puketriots - 24 Blount steamrolls the Bills defense for 2 scores, and the cheats get a touchdown on defense somehow.
  9. So, a friend and I have tickets to the Syracuse v UCONN basketball game on Monday, December 5th at Madison Square Garden. We have been looking at hotels in Times Square, and the prices for anything decent are much more than we are willing to spend. Plus, the idea of staying in Times Square is not that appealing to me. I don't really know much about NYC. Are there areas, or particular hotels, within a reasonable taxi/subway ride to MSG that we should be looking at? I'd like the hotel to be in an area with decent bars/restaurants, so that we can head back after the game and go out for food/drinks. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
  10. Best: BB King at the Landmark Theatre in Syracuse, 1997. I don't think I need to elaborate. He was incredible. Worst: Marilyn Manson at Rensselaer Poly in the late 90's. My cousin, who was a freshman at UAlbany, convinced me to tag along with he and his friends. Not my cup of tea. It was just a bunch of screaming, and some goth twirp accidentally poked me in the eye as he was thrashing around.
  11. I made a huge breakfast for 8 of my family members with pork belly eggs benedict, home fries, bacon and sausage. Set up an awesome Bloody Mary and mimosa bar. This is going to be tough to maintain...
  12. Umm...no. You want your best players out there. This Sammy is a wimp rhetoric is moronic.
  13. City folk just don't get it...
  14. I'm in the same boat. Scrambling now to patch things together. Cameron Artis-Payne may be a good fill-in for a few weeks until Stewart gets back, but this week's march up against that Vikes D will be tough. Lions rookie RB Dwayne Washington also may be worth a stash. Although Theo Riddick has be named the "starter" after Abdullah went down, many believe Washington could take over sooner than expected as he is a better all around back. He'll definitely be getting goalline snaps.
  15. He can bring his buddy Kubiak. That would be okay with me.
  16. Good DC, not a good HC.
  17. Yeah, even if it's an AC sprain in his throwing shoulder, that's a tough injury for a QB.
  18. I suspect that Bush may be released when JWill is ready to roll, and Lynn will use the duo of Gillislee and Williams to compliment Shady. There is no reason for Bush to be on this roster, IMO. To respond to the OP, I think it will be interesting to watch the offense evolve under Lynn. Seems like folks here are writing him off already because he has never been an OC or called plays before. I don't necessarily think he is under qualified, as he has been an offensive coach in this league for a long time and has worked under some great offensive minds. Let's see the product on the field before we dismiss him. After all, the guy was respected enough around the league to get some HC interviews.
  19. And I thought everyone went crazy on TSW after a loss. Brilliant.
  20. What's with the member berries? I didn't get that. Not their best episode ever, but still one of my favorite shows.
  21. Am I mistaken, or did Duke Williams blow his inside assignment on the Decker touchdown. Watching the replay that seemed to be the case, and Darby's body language certainly seemed to point to that. Darby was okay. Played very well down the stretch, IMO. Showed difficulty locating getting to the ball against Marshall. Gilmore was just terrible. He looked like he didn't even want to be out there. No pass rush didn't help, and finally, Fitz was near perfect in that game.
  22. Farva, what is that place that you like to eat that has the s@&t all over the walls?
  23. This. If TT is benched for performance that means the season is a complete wash. Why wouldn't they then see what they have in Cardale? They already have a lot of film on EJ....I think he's a known commodity.
