  1. Yes, but when the ball carrier is clearly headed out of bounds you let him go. Maybe give him a shove. Not worth risking an injury on that play, IMO.
  2. Coincidentally, the NE game is pretty much a Bills fan's Super Bowl as well. We just won the Super Bowl!
  3. Man, you just beat me to it. I can picture the OP now.... "Wow, really?! Did you see Gilmore dive shoulder first into Blount on that meaningless tackle when Blount was just going out of bounds anyway? He didn't even need to hit him. He's a me-first player, and I want him off this team! Well, even though he's been nearly lights-out in coverage for 3-4 games this season. Get the pitchforks!!!"
  4. I don't know if he is "platinum" or not...lol.
  5. This is an odd question. No I don't believe he is a salad condiment, or a stuffing made with cubed bread, savory vegetables, chicken stock, and spices. I bet he is active today though.
  6. I agree. Throw the ball and throw it frequently. I don't think we're going to "ground and pound" against this Pats defense. They are very solid against the run, and Jamie Collins is a scary man. I see this as a good barometer for Lynn's adaptability in his game planning.
  7. Not yet. It's been a crazy weekend. Edit: My B-I-L has accumulated a zillion Marriott rewards points from work travel, and offered to book me a room for free. Well, he tried a few hotels yesterday and all of them had my dates "blacked out" for purchase with reward points. He's looking into it.
  8. What happens in New York City.....
  9. Sal Capaccio tweeted that he saw Clay after practice, with a helmet on, catching passes from the jugs machine.
  10. We should come out with 8 defensive tackles, the Brown brothers playing CB, and Jerry Hughes playing safety. Really phuck with their heads.
  11. Gotta get hits on him and do it early. Jeannine Garappolo is a Nancy boy.
  12. I hear ya. I have the money to spend and I'm not a tight wad. That's not the problem. If I were traveling with my wife I would spend whatever on a hotel room. Sign me up for the Waldorf Astoria if that's what she wants. The issue is I'm traveling with a buddy of mine. It's a friend who likes to drink, drink, drink some more, go to the strip joint, get something to eat, and then start drinking again. We will be in the hotel room to sleep only, and we won't be sleeping much in NYC. I just can't see spending $500 a day on something I'm not going to use. I've stayed at the Pennsylvania Hotel before. It's pretty skeevey, but I'm not above it. I've heard they have a huge problem with bed bugs though. Obviously you came away unscathed....
  13. I'm sorry, but how can you blame Whaley for Sammy's injury? When healthy, SW was clearly one of the most talented WR's in the league. Imagine if he had Brady or Brees throwing to him... It was a good pick.
  14. A friend recommend the Chelsea Savoy Hotel. Nothing fancy but clean, and I can get a room for around 210/per night. About 8-10 blocks from MSG. Anyone ever stay here?
  15. Thanks man. I'll do some research. I agree about Times Square, BTW. Cheesy tourist trap.
  16. Huge breakfast. Probably a trip to the park with the kids or something like that. Bloody Mary's and mimosas followed by some choice local beers for the game. During the game, tequila shots for touchdowns only not field goals (superstition). My wife is making taco dip for the game, and baked potato soup for dinner. Should be a good day. I don't think we are going to win, but I also thought Arizona was going to demolish us. Go Bills!!
  17. This is interesting. I liked this kid a lot at Tennessee, and he had a pretty good stretch there in Tennessee. I remember wanting Buffalo to draft him. I wonder what happened? He's definitely one of those "open when he's not open" type of receiver. Speedy, tall, good catching radius, and a pretty good natural hands catcher. Anyone know where things went awry with him? Injury? Character stuff?
  18. Sage advice, my friend. I'm all about the tiny house movement. Can I poop in a bucket next to my cardboard bed mat?
  19. Thanks for this. All booked up for the dates I need, but thanks. Good as a last resort. Any advice as to good places in the city to get an empty refrigerator box?
  20. I guess my budget is around 250/night max. I could spend more, but really, I'm only going to be sleeping at the place. Thanks for the suggestions. I'm looking into the Hoboken/Jersey City options right now, and the hotels seem to be more reasonable. When is the Hoboken PATH train station supposed to open? That would make things much easier if I chose to stay in NJ. The AAA rate for this place for the dates I need is 420/night includes all fees. Yikes!! You must have got a great deal.
  21. I'm not all that impressed with Garoppolo or Brissett. Don't really care who we face.
  22. Can you be more specific as to the area?
  23. Bills - 13 Puketriots - 24 Blount steamrolls the Bills defense for 2 scores, and the cheats get a touchdown on defense somehow.
  24. So, a friend and I have tickets to the Syracuse v UCONN basketball game on Monday, December 5th at Madison Square Garden. We have been looking at hotels in Times Square, and the prices for anything decent are much more than we are willing to spend. Plus, the idea of staying in Times Square is not that appealing to me. I don't really know much about NYC. Are there areas, or particular hotels, within a reasonable taxi/subway ride to MSG that we should be looking at? I'd like the hotel to be in an area with decent bars/restaurants, so that we can head back after the game and go out for food/drinks. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
  25. Best: BB King at the Landmark Theatre in Syracuse, 1997. I don't think I need to elaborate. He was incredible. Worst: Marilyn Manson at Rensselaer Poly in the late 90's. My cousin, who was a freshman at UAlbany, convinced me to tag along with he and his friends. Not my cup of tea. It was just a bunch of screaming, and some goth twirp accidentally poked me in the eye as he was thrashing around.
