  1. Waking up on a Sunday morning knowing the Bills are playing at 1:00.
  2. Interesting dialogue. What’s with the eggs? Also, that “set” reminded me of a bar on the Cornell campus. I can’t remember the name of it. 🤔
  3. First of all, @ExiledInIllinois and I bust each other’s chops all the time. We’ve been “friends” on this board for as long as I remember. Hell, we even share the same birthday (even though he’s like 30 years older than I). Secondly, I’m sorry if it makes your heart hurt, but the phrase “You’re an idiot” is a long-standing TBDism recognized by most board members as humorous. Next, while I do poke fun and tease playfully, I have been open to EII’s viewpoints in this thread. Even though his presence in this thread had been bordering on crusading, IMO, which is against the TOS. Please read my posts before you judge me. I even wrote at some point in this thread “I think there are some legitimate questions to be asked here” acknowledging his potential concerns. While I have an opinion on many things, I don’t pretend to know everything. Lastly, as much as I have no idea who you are and I know nothing about you, I will still respect you as a board member. That said, don’t try to be a moderator. If you have a problem with anything I am writing, please feel free to block me or report me. I’ve been here since April of 2009. I know the ropes pretty well. Thanks, Muppy 😊
  4. I have no idea what this means, muppy, but thanks for the pic.
  5. You, my friend, are an idiot.
  6. I mean, there certainly are limits, but I remember being a teenager and taking my girlfriend up on the ferris wheel to screw around a little bit. Not sex, but some other innocent fun. If the other folks on the ride can see your sexual organs you’re doing it wrong 😂
  7. How was that experience? I have friends who have them in their homes and rave about them. Do you need to towel dry your grundle region afterward? That part would be off putting to me.
  8. I tend to agree with you, in that, if excessive cannabis use was directly linked to psychosis/schizophrenia there would be some solid longitudinal research to support that. I’m 43 years old, and have been enjoying “high potency” cannabis regularly since I was 15 years old. Back in the day I smoked just about every single day. Now I probably enjoy cannabis flower or edibles 2 or 3 days per week. The connection between cocaine use and cocaine induced psychosis/schizophrenia is well documented and widely supported by the medical community. You’d think the same would be true of cannabis induced schizophrenia if it were actually a thing.
  9. I Just Killed My Dad on Netflix is a really interesting true-crime documentary. Highly recommend.
  10. I mowed the lawn stoned as ***** yesterday. On my new lawn tractor. I even took it down the street to mow sweet ol’ Ms. Joan’s lawn…experiencing transient psychosis the whole time…and loving it.
  11. Again, the incomplete/questionable science. You are fine to state your opinion on the matter, as I think there are legitimate questions to be asked here. But you can’t prop up your opinion with questionable science and say there is fire along with the smoke. This is a review of several longitudinal studies that are all flawed in some way. Essentially leading the author to state “There is enough questionable evidence derived through questionable studies to put a message out to the public about something that hasn’t been proven.” I’m paraphrasing what is actually states in the article.
  12. The study he’s referencing is actually from a very reputable medical journal. I would have to read the whole study. I’d be surprised if they had actual longitudinal evidence connecting daily use of “high potency” marijuana to psychosis. I’m wondering what they considered in the study to “psychosis.” The term is so broad. Also, genetic and environmental factors that would cause someone to develop a dissociative disorder may also cause one to be more apt to use marijuana and other drugs to excess.
  13. Don’t confuse correlation with causation. I’m not certain, but I think you’re smarter than that, Biff.
  14. What the hell does this have to do with anything? It’s also completely legal in Mass, NJ and Maine. Show me something to support your claim about legal cannabis being so problematic. Other than you being a tight wad about it. Statistics? Research? Anything 😉
  15. It’s completely legal here, and I haven’t heard of one single problem. Perhaps you’re biased against cannabis users?
  16. People under the influence of THC are an annoyance for lock babysitters. Got it. I think you need to smoke a bowl before work and maybe you’d have a little more patience. Just don’t run over your foot with the lawnmower! 😘
  17. sorry, I wasn’t alive during prohibition.
  18. Tree fitty. Hey, I remember 50 cent wing specials in the early 2000s. I remember in college getting a dozen delivered to my dorm for Monday Night Football for ~$7.
  19. Easy man. I think one of them is from the mean streets of Cheektowaga.
