  1. Trevor Siemian? You get all the accuracy issues with none of the athleticism. I'm not sure if you're being serious.
  2. I find a particular board member's absence from this thread, well...interesting. The only way I can see moving on from TT this year is if the staff feels that Cardale Jones is ready to take the reins. Otherwise, we won't be in a position to draft the only QB in this draft who is worth a crap...Trubisky. Watson is the other guy I like, but I wouldn't take him earlier than the 3rd and I don't see him as better than TT right away. No better options in FA than TT, IMO.
  3. Definitely a solid candidate given his experience, however, hasn't he spent most of his career coaching on the offensive side of the ball? I'd also like to throw out there, Adam Zimmer, LB'ers coach Vikings. Very well regarded around the league, experienced, and has the pedigree. Did an amazing job with Barr and Kendricks this year.
  4. So your perception, if I am to understand correctly, is that it's not necessarily that NFL offenses have made the 3-4 "antiquated" or less effective. It is more about practice restrictions outlined by the CBA, in that, there is simply not enough practice time to correctly and sufficiently coach the 3-4? Indeed. Quality post...thanks. Although I'm still not 100% convinced that the OC was not in the room to weigh in on whether or not to start HIS starting QB. Whether his input was important to the "decision makers" or not, you think he would have been extended that courtesy. Especially if he is viewed as a potential piece of the puzzle moving forward; which I believe ALynn is.
  5. Can you explain this a bit further? I'm not saying you're wrong, but I always thought that utilizing the 3-4 as the base defense gave the DC an advantage in terms of versatility. Linebackers that can either rush the passer, play the run, or drop into coverage. That is, of course, if the DC had the proper personnel. The Bills were clearly lacking a true NT for the scheme, and many have contended that Preston Brown was playing out of position as a 3-4 ILB. Also, not having competent safeties hurt us, but that would adversely impact any defense regardless of scheme. Not trying to defend Rex's 3-4 at all, but wondering why you think the scheme itself is somewhat antiquated.
  6. Prince, Muhammad Ali, and now the king of beer pong? 2017 can't come quickly enough.
  7. I don't know how much you're willing to pay, but I just bought 2 on SeatGeek for $72/each. Section 317 row 9. Much more pricey than most games, but it's the friggin Bruins.
  8. Oh my....this escalated quickly. I think Bradshaw and Tomlin are both ass hats. They deserve each other.
  9. It's astounding that you actually needed to provide stats to support this idea. The collective IQ of TSW continues to plummet by the day.
  10. Losing AW killed the defense. Why losing one specific player had such an impact on Rex's defense is beyond me.
  11. Ah, I see your point now. Who knows with Boeheim? His practices are mysterious and many times don't make sense to me. I find DC2 frustrating to watch, personally. He's gotten better in the low post, but has the curious inability to rebound and go back up with it. It's maddening watching him get stripped by 5'7" white guys all game long.
  12. Yes. They should offer him the vet minimum with escalators for performance. He'd be dumb not to take it, as he clearly he is a back up QB and no other team would want him at his already team friendly contract.
  13. Thompson is the better option at the 5 with Lydon at the 4. I think it's more of a matter of talent. Coleman is lucky to get the token start.
  14. So that's what we've been missing!!
  15. This. It would have been a very dumb question, IMO.
  16. What's the big deal? The Miami coach appeared to be just as involved in the verbal altercation as Hughes.
  17. I hope you're right...
  18. I'm sorry, your position on Tyrod is unclear. Do you think he deserves to stay on the roster, or is he a flaming pile of dog poop?
  19. I think he stays. I don't want him to, but I think he gets another year. Just a suspicion.
  20. I think you and I are on the same page here. I'm not a Tyrod fanboy, but I think he is the best option for next year. I don't like any of the FA's, and I don't think any of the rookies are going to be able to step in and take over immediately. Also, I think we will be able to land a really solid WR or S in round one. I see those positions as being a greater need.
  21. Your very persistent and overt disdain for Tyrod Taylor is becoming tiresome and annoying. We get it, dude. Find anything else to post about and we will all be very thankful. Merry Christmas.
  22. Let's see. The Jets, Bears, Jags, Dolphins, 49ers, Broncos....to name a few. You watch how quickly he gets scooped up if Buffalo lets him hit FA.
  23. You're being ridiculous. Is it your money paying his salary?
  24. Tyrod already accepted a very team friendly contract. There is no way he is going to re-negotiate his current deal because he would have 4-5 teams beating down his door to acquire him with his current contract.
