  1. We tried one this past weekend. It was disgusting. My wife thought that she could tolerate the cheese. She was up all night.
  2. I have been doing research, and there seems to be a legitimate biological etiology to Celiac Disease. Care to elaborate? Sorry for hijacking the SB food thread, BTW.
  3. My wife has been pretty good about allowing me and the kids to have pasta and bread occasionally, as she will will just substitute gluten free pasta and bread. The really hard thing for me is no pizza. I really miss the occasional friday night pie, and I wouldn't dare eat it in front of her. We went to a burger joint in Burlington last weekend with a bunch of hockey families after my son's game, and it was sad watching my wife eat her cheeseless meat patties with a knife and fork. It has been tough. It's all the things (e.g., seasonings, sauces, etc...) that you don't think about. Meat and veggies, meat and veggies, meat and veggies.
  4. My wife recently "discovered" that she has sensitivities to gluten and dairy, and has cut both out of her diet. Which of course means that they are pretty much cut out of my diet as well. Two of my favorite things
  5. No chance, IMO. The kid was widely considered a top 10 pick a day ago, and should be ready to go by TC. This is not a Myles Jack type situation.
  6. Classless piece of trash. But we already knew this...didn't we?
  7. The article states that he should be ready by TC. Overreact ever?
  8. Good one! My Father used to take me to AT's all the time for fish and chips. They had the best hush puppies. What about Swiss Chalet? I remember their chicken and dipping sauce being so delicious.
  9. This sounds great as long as the "University" doesn't refer to the scholarship students as "student athletes." They sit and stare at a computer screen. Call it like it is...
  10. Minute Maid orange soda. Was everywhere in the early 2000's, and I haven't seen it in a store in forever. Best orange soda ever.
  11. Good. Great. Get in where you fit in, gamers. Hell..you'll probably net the university more coin than will the soccer, hockey, and lacrosse teams combined!
  12. Glow in the dark condoms. They're fun even when you're alone.
  13. I think they would take it if they could be 7th in scoring. With that defense? Fuggettaboutitt!!
  14. I was poking fun at Chris Hogan backlash around here. Similar scenario. Hell no I wouldn't pay Woods 8 million/year.
  15. Woods gets picked up by Atlanta, proceeds to amass 1200 receiving yards and 10 TD's, and TSW calls for Whaley's head for not paying him.
  16. My Giants fan friend says no. He's done his last salsa dance.
  17. Jimmy definitely said "that's bull schitt." I read his lips.
  18. I hate court stormings. What was the scoop between JB and Leonard Hamilton there at the end?
  19. At halftime....ummmmm okay.... This team drives me crazy.
  20. I watched episode 2 last night and it was dumb, IMO. I hope E3 rights the ship.
  21. And then ban it from entering the country. 'Merica!!'
  22. I think the best thing to do is find a good travel agent. Tell them your budget, and exactly what you're looking for. If you have a good one, they should be able to give you 8 or 10 options based on your preferences. They also will do all the leg work which is nice. This has always worked well for us.
  23. We did Hard Rock Punta Cana in February 2016. While it was very nice and the entertainment options were top notch, I also found the food to be, well, blah. Let's just say that I didn't have a proper BM for about 3 weeks. It was nice, however, to be able to order a mediocre cheeseburger or soggy chicken fingers (along with a bottle of scotch) at any time of day. I don't think I'd do Punta Cana again. Probably my least favorite place I've visited in the Carib.
  24. My wife and I have done several. My favorite all-inclusive resort, by far, is the Couples Resort in Negril, Jamaica. It's kind of low key, so if you're looking for a huge party scene it may not be for you (although there are bars everywhere and they deliver drinks to your beach chairs). The food is amazing. I can't say enough about the food and service. Several different restaurants (Thai, Caribbean, French), a "snack bar" that serves burgers and other stuff all day, and an ocean side cafe that has the most amazing, fresh fish tacos. Literally the waves are hitting your feet as you eat your tacos. Amazing. PM me if you're interested and want more information.
  25. I watched the first episode of Black Mirror last night. Holy crap! Freaky stuff...
