If the guards play well we play well. Nice to see Roberson out there cracking heads again, and AW3 continues to lead this team by example. Battle is going to be so crucial to our chances at sniffing the tourney. If he continues to progress, especially defensively, he is going to be a matchup nightmare for other teams. Top 300 2017 PG Howard Thompson was at the dome for the game yesterday with his buddy and 2017 commit Oshae Brissett. Hopefully his visit went well because we desperately need him. Childress seems to be the obvious preference. I wonder if Olson would come on as QB's coach. Seems as though he has had some success in that capacity. Anything to get rid of David Lee.

Agreed. He is smarter and more athletic than I think most give him credit for. Should be good 4-3 mike. Preston Brown on the other hand...depth at SLB I guess.

Reuben Foster would be an instant impact LB. Possibly a star defensive player. I'd take him at 10 if he's there. Can play mike or will in 4-3, IMO.

Ragland plays fast enough to play inside or outside in McDermott's defense, IMO. It's Preston Brown that I worry about. I think Zach Brown should be a priority. I think Bob Woods will garner too much money in the open market for us to be able to compete with. After Zach, Jerome Felton and Justin Hunter should be re-signed. Hunter will be cheap, and is a good red zone target.

I don't know if this is necessarily true. As we all know, Lynn was not running his offense (he stated as such). He was running a watered down version of Roman's offense for continuity. I think he will retain many of the successful concepts of the running game, but I expect to see a more balanced offense under Lynn. Then again...who knows.

Jim Boeheim said it best in his presser. If our guards don't play well, then we won't play well. AW3 cannot be the only player hitting shots. Battle hit a couple perimeter shots, but Gillon and Lydon were both ineffective from outside. Roberson's early fouls killed our defense. Also, I love Thompson for his offensive game, but he is a horrible defender at this point. Finally, Frank Howard is just terrible. Keep him out of the f*&^ing game! I hope we bounce back nicely from this one. Get that swagger and intensity back. Go Orange. BTW...I still think there is a chance for this team to make the tourney. A few quality ACC wins, and a little run in the ACC tourney, and I think we have a puncher's chance.

Considering the source (sorry Jerky...you is who you is...) I am not offended or irritated by the post. I will say, however, that the ignorant statements about black coaches and the RR are becoming annoying and tiresome. Boo.
