I was watching the NFLN yesterday and they were discussing the combine. Peppers came up and the discussion centered around why he was "registered" as a LB and not a safety. I believe it was Mayock, but I can't be certain, who opined that Peppers was not trying to show off his versatility, but rather mask his footwork and technique weaknesses as a DB. He felt that Peppers draft stock would plummet if he ran drills with the other DB's. FWIW

I've been to the Big East tourney at MSG a couple times, and scalping tickets was really easy and cheap for the exact reason you stated. Fans of the losing teams are quite happy to get face value (or less) for their tickets once their team gets bounced. Two friends of mine went to the final 4 last year, and were going to head home after Syracuse lost to UNC, but were offered 2 championship game tickets for $50 per seat so they stayed. They didn't regret that decision.

Why? Ragland could play MLB or WLB in this defense. The guy to trade, if I had to pick a LB, would be Preston Brown. Although I don't think the compensation would be worth it, and I think Preston would be servicable at SLB.
