Vegas in late July with the wife. First time there. It's a work conference, but I only need to be there from 8:30-4:15 Monday through Wednesday, and we're going from Sunday to Saturday. Super excited. Annual week with the fam in Wells Beach, Maine. Week with the fam at my parents' place in Myrtle Beach late August. Golf and fishing. Fishing trip to northern Quebec with my Father, Uncle, BIL and other friends in early September. Drive as far north as you can go, hop a float plane another 150 miles north. Small lake loaded with Walleye and Northern Pike. No electricity, no phones (except a satellite phone for emergencies), and no women. It's going to be a good summer.

It's probably more of a big deal in NC than it is here in the Green Mountains of VT. In fact, I think it's actually legal to possess up to two ounces on your property for personal use, and you can smoke the stuff on your property with no issue. I don't mind at all. If my kids were older and could understand what was happening, however, I might go next door with a couple of cold beers and kindly ask him to be a little more discreet.
