  1. Well, alrighty then! I'll have to make the stop there some time. We used to stop at this little cafe all the time on route 64...I think it was in Charleton. Cafe 64 I think it was called. They had great sandwiches, paninis, pastries. Never go back there after I almost had to break the owner's face. Let my 3 year old daughter pee her pants, and wouldn't let her use the bathroom until my wife paid for something. I would have hurt him, but my wife was there.
  2. Is that place any good? We drive right by it all the time on our way back and forth to CNY. Always tempted to stop, but the name is kinda weird. Sounds like a gay strip joint or something.
  3. As long as we don't mention the bolded to my wife we'll be just fine
  4. I can't believe Dolan isn't packing up his office as well. Carmelo and Kristaps should be allowed to kick Phil in the pills on his way out of MSG. What a clown. Question...was Phil Jackson really such a great coach, or did he just luck out with Jordan and Kobe/Shaq?
  5. Hahahahahahaha! Nice.
  6. Nice scenery depending on where you are. Fresh air. Scantily clad women flaunting their sweater puppets. It's not an awful thing.
  7. I'll second Burlington, VT as an option. Really beautiful little city on the shore of lake Champlain. Downtown full of cool shops and restaurants, and the Echo Aquarium and Science center is great for young children. Tons of breweries within a short driving distance. Nearby ski resorts have family friendly activities going on in the summer time. Stop on the way up at the Hammersticks' home for a hot shower and a cold beer
  8. What strikes me is the belief, seemingly held by many, that homosexuality almost automatically equates to mental illness. Correlation does not necessarily imply causation, and this man expressing suicidal ideation does not automatically mean that he is/was mentally ill. The "real issue here is mental illness" response baffles me.
  9. We spend a week in Wells Beach, Maine every summer. Typically, you can find more reasonable lodging rates in August. Beaches, good food and relaxation (and other fun stuff for the kiddies). Love me some Maine.
  10. Agreed....to PPP with this horrible thread!! Tout de suite!!
  11. Well, the stressors associated with him being gay certainly appear to have been the root cause of his struggles, no?
  12. I'm unclear as to your feelings about Lehner. Could you please clarify?
  13. Good call... https://www.nunesmagician.com/2017/6/23/15860160/syracuse-andrew-white-iii-signs-with-cleveland-cavaliers-nba-draft-orange-free-agent Also, TRob signs with the Bucks. https://www.nunesmagician.com/2017/6/24/15868654/syracuses-tyler-roberson-signs-with-milwaukee-bucks
  14. I drove away as quickly as I possibly could with a load of crap in my pants. There were loads of witnesses there anyway. They didn't need me
  15. During breaks from college, I was working collecting money for a furniture store on Lyell Ave in Rochester, and witnessed and execution style murder in front of a barber shop while I was driving by. We saw a guy get out of the passenger seat of a car, walk up to a man who was standing near the doorway of the barber shop, and shoot him right in the face. Hearing gun shots ring off in that neighborhood was very common. Seeing that whole thing play out in front of my eyes was deeply disturbing. They police caught the shooter within hours, BTW. Drug/gang related homicide.
  16. As someone who has been on this exact ride 4-5 times, I'd have to agree. You'd have to be acting like a complete wacko to end up in this situation. Never wish harm to anyone, of course, but it's too bad the park is going to take heat for this.
  17. This just in! John McEnroe is an a$&hole. Even if he believed it to be true (and I happen to disagree), he never should have said it.
  18. How dare these people ignore all the hard work done by Chuck Darwin? lol
  19. Great...they won't let my son on any of the good rides again this year.
  20. He's a high motor guy with a lightning quick first step.
  21. Thanks for sharing. Tyrod certainly is a class act. Last summer I took my son for our annual trip to SJF. In the past, at least 7 or 8 players will stick around after practice to sign autographs. After this particular session, however, all the players bolted for the locker room. Tyrod was the only player to sign autographs that day, and he stayed until everyone who wanted an autograph/picture got one. He earned a great deal of respect from me on that day.
  22. Jeebus! Loads of loons and ducks here. Never seen a swan. Fortunately.
  23. Just purchased a beautiful fishing kayak today. Perfect for the reservoirs, rivers and small lakes around where I live. I can't wait to try it out on Sunday! Went fishing on Wednesday with my son to a spot where we usually catch a lot of pan fish (rock bass, bluegills, perch, etc...). Out of nowhere the smallmouth started hitting. My son caught a nice 2-3 pounder, and I caught a few including one that was about 6.5 pounds. Lost another one that looked even bigger. Might have been a small pike. Snapped my line about 5 feet away from the shore.
