  1. Good job. But do something secretly vindictive like hide a bag of raw shrimp in the cabin air filter of her car or something.
  2. Few of the priests I've seen lately actually have a good grasp on the English language. Mostly, it seems the priests are "shipped in" from Eastern European and African countries. I went to a wedding last month in the church that I grew up in, and the priest was from The Ukraine. Could barely understand the guy. The priest who married my cousin (at a different church in my hometown) was from Cameroon.
  3. My cousin Angie has been known to make people like this disappear. She's a pro. PM me.
  4. Really it's TBD because no one really knows what we have in the secondary right now. What can Seymour and White do? What's up with Hyde and Poyer? What's behind those guys? I have no freakin idea.
  5. Interesting. Overrated by whom? And relative to what? Anyway, responding directly to the OP's question. I love the opening sequence to The Town. Thrown right into he middle of a modern bank robbery. Dudes with scary masks. The getaway scene is pretty cool. Love it.
  6. Anyone watching Boeheims Army in The Basketball Tournament? Beat a team of D3 players from around Pennsylvania last night by 30 points, but they're playing a much better Iona Alumni team today. 2:30 streaming on WatchESPN/ESPN3. Devendorf, Cooney, Gillon, Triche, Fair, Rick Jackson, Dashonte Riley, and Donte Green today. And I think they add James Southerland if they advance.
  7. Also, IMO, the safety position has been grossly neglected for the past 3-5 years. Hyde is a step in the right direction, but after him? Glorified special teams players.
  8. Agreed. I was also puzzled about them letting Searcy go. The Titans did give him an absurd contract though. Way more than he was/is worth, IMO.
  9. Having depth is a great thing until you need to use it. (Marv?)
  10. Interesting observation. It seems that the old school Catholic Churches we grew up with are going by the way side, and are being taken over by these "strip mall" churches where they have fun and dance and sing to house Christian rock bands. They have popped up all over the place in my town. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with this...just my observations. You go to a Wednesday mass at the Roman Catholic Church down the street and you see 13 old ladies sitting in the pews. You go to these new-fangled "light" churches on a Wednesday night and it's standing room only.
  11. Supposedly true. Organized religion is full of contradictions and hypocracies.
  12. The priest is supposed to be your "direct line" to confess your sins to god, but really, he just tells the old lady who plays the organ during mass and they have a good laugh.
  13. I hear Nylander came in at around 200. They say he looks completely different physically. Interesting.
  14. The Whitewater Center is awesome. Went to a wedding there one time. White water rafting, huge zip line, mountain biking, rock wall climbing, booze, usually live music. I highly recommend it. Edit: Epicenter in Uptown. Great for night life. Something for everyone. Watch a movie in a theatre while being served dinner and drinks, clubs, arcade, bowling alley....really fun place right down the street from the stadium. http://epicentrenc.com
  15. Had sex in public plenty of times. Never in front of a crowd; seemingly wanting to draw attention though. Not even in the same ballpark.
  16. If that lady had any coin to pass on this never would have been written. lol
  17. I'm almost the same except we do Good Friday, Ash Wednesday, xmas eve, and Easter. Mainly for Mom.
  18. Nope. My last confession was prior to my confirmation ceremony...probably 25 years ago or so. Not too many people do that anymore, I believe.
  19. Have you actually seen the movie? It's not cartoonish or mindless at all, IMO. Good story. Good acting. Well directed. Give it a chance old timer!
  20. So you're saying there's a chance....
  21. I don't know the kid at all, but I know people who do. He's from Queechee, which is about 20-30 minutes from here. I have a faceboook page set up for my lacrosse team though, and noticed that many of my players are friends with him and posted about the incident. Probably played lacrosse for one of our perrennial opponents.
  22. One of my favorites in a while. The Town.
