  1. Oh good god, man! Those poor children...
  2. Make sure you work into the conversation that you are a fullonrapist, and that you are constantly seeking ways to improve the welfare of the less fortunate. That always works.
  3. In N Out Burger last night after a day of drinking at the pool. 3 double doubles and a couple order of fries. Sooooo good.
  4. It is conceivable that Peterman could win the #2 job in camp. Yates is just a good insurance policy.
  5. Holy jumpin jeebus! I love that ride. Poor people.
  6. He knows the Kubiak/Dennison offense. Could come in and start week one in a pinch if he had too. Peterman will likely take some time.
  7. Dimwittedly witty. Cheers!
  8. Make sure to stop and see JH on your way up. Just please come clothed. You can have all the wine you want.
  9. These are NOT the type of people you want to see naked. Ewww.
  10. That's how the concierge described the MJ show, and part of the reason we opted to go see LOVE. More acrobatics and showmanship as opposed to dancing and a hologram show. LOVE was amazing. It's a sex act involving one testicle, an ice cube, and a blind chicken. Check urban dictionary.
  11. We saw the Beatles one instead. It was friggin amazing!
  12. We tried her place for lunch on Sunday. Interesting spot. Although in the bathrooms there were plunger handles sticking out of all the toilets. Weird.
  13. The burgers were both over 18 dollars. Order of fries was 8 dollars. 2 Tanquaray and tonics were 16 dollars each. And the Modelo draft was 12 IIRC. Add taxes and whatever fees they sneak in there and it's over a c-note for a cheeseburger dinner. I'll check it out, thanks. Right across the street from us. Edit: Whoa, just googled it. Thomas Keller restaurant. Mucho Dinero. I'd love to do French Laundry some day. Our "fancy" dinner is going to be at Aureole. I have a friend who is an exec chef for the Charlie Palmer Group, so we get "preferential treatment" at Charlie's restaurant.
  14. Certainly eye opening how expensive it is to eat/drink here. Last night we were short on time after our work conference, so we went to a burger joint in The Mirage. Two burgers, two mixed drinks, and one beer led to a 115.00 tab. Unreal. Tonight we plan on going to this Vietnamese joint that is off the strip. Came highly recommended, and most dishes are under 10 dollars. Fortunately, our lunch is provided for us every day by the conference (Harrah's buffet). Last night we went to the Beatles Cirque show. My wife wanted to see the MJ one, but changed her mind at the last minute. It was unreal. Absolutely spectacular. The acrobatics and stuff were awesome, but the music made the show. My favorite thing about Vegas is he people watching. Well, basically watching all the beautiful women. I have to be careful not to get caught gawking by my wife. So far a very good trip, but if I were to do it again I would only do a 3-4 day stay.
  15. Bills bring in 3 FA D-Linemen today. Really going out on a limb with this take.
  16. Sharp provolone is the balls. Regular provolone is good melted on top of baked pasta. That's about it, IMO.
  17. Some teams are alumni teams, some are comprised of players from different colleges who are all from a particular area, one team is made up of a bunch of guys who play in the NYC playground circuit (Rucker Park). For the past couple years, Boeheim's Army had one or two non-SU players. It's definitely weird.
  18. I think Rak Christmas is unemployed at the moment
  19. Unreal game! Southy put the team on his back. Credit to Triche and Devo for playing their guts out down the stretch. Ryan Blackwell made some nice adjustments to that zone at halftime. BA's defense was getting absolutely shredded in the first half.
  20. We got here at around noon today, and it is soooooo freaking hot. Yeah, I know it's the desert. 108 degrees. Holy crap. Went to lunch at this cafe in the casino downstairs because my wife was too tired to walk anywhere. I took a walk down to the marijuana dispensary. Wow. Never experienced anything like that before. They had a line about 50 feet long going out the door and down the street. It smells like weed everywhere around here. There was even a group of guys smoking a huge doober right near the front door of the casino. Anyway, there was a menu of like 30-40 different strains of weed. All with specific descriptions of the type of buzz, flavor, THC content and other stuff. The cute young "budtender" helped me pick out a gram of "Lemon OG" and I also got a peanut butter cookie. It was a neat experience anyway. Went to Walgreens and stocked up on booze for the room. Came back to the casino and sat down at the Let it Ride table for a couple hours. Hit a few hands including a flush and a couple 3 of a kinds. I think I'm up a few hundred. Came back to the room and the wife was pissed. She woke up from her nap and both the AC and the toilet are not working properly. Waiting on the repair guy, but I think I'm just going to ask for a new room. This place is nuts. I guess I'm most surprised at how many kids are here. Didn't think it was really such family vacation destination. With people stumbling around hammered all day and all. Anyway, thanks all for the tips.
  21. Thanks everyone! Any suggestions on favorite sportsbooks? I need to put some money on the Bills to win the Super Bowl, and I'm thinking about throwing some money down on McGregor for the heck of it. Also, is weed really legal for recreational use/sale there? I've seen conflicting information on the internet. Not a big weed guy anymore, but I might take advantage for the Cirque Du Soliel show if it's available. Not willing to buy off the streets though.
