  1. 150 Did I win? My Father got drafted, but failed his physical due to a blood clot that they found in his leg. He tells me that (at the time) he was very sad that he couldn't join many of his friends who went off to war. Many of them didn't make it back.
  2. I'm not discrediting the OP, but I find this hard to believe unless Buffalo was going to throw in a bunch of picks. Ramsey is a young elite CB. Tyrod is....well, a mediocre QB.
  3. Bota Box is pretty good, and usually cheaper than Black Box here in VT. Their reds (Redvolution & Nighthawk) are nice.
  4. felonious haberdashery
  5. My Father is 68 and still has a full head of hair. He never knew his Father. In any event, I'm married with 2 kids so to make it this far without balding is a victory in my book. Let it fall out now...save money on haircuts.
  6. My dad is so full of crap sometimes. He used to tell me all the time growing up that wearing baseball caps would make me go bald. I wore them all the time anyway. I'm 38 and I still have beautiful, luxurious hair...lol.
  7. I also just got back to Vermont from MB last night, and yes, I do use cruise control. My father tells me that it kills your gas mileage, but I don't care. It's convenient. We abandoned the I95 route after our first trip to the outer banks a few years ago. Got stuck in traffic for over 6 hours at least, and the tolls were substantial. We take 87 down to New Paltz and then take 84 West all the way over to I81 which spits us out just south of Scranton. Then we drive down to Staughton VA and hop on 64 east which brings us back to 95 on the south side of Richmond (cut over on 288). 81 is sooooo much better than 95, IMO. We made it from central Vermont to Myrtle in 15 hours with 2 small kids. If I'm headed pretty much anywhere south of D.C. this is the way to go.
  8. lmao! I drove right by there today and had no idea this was going on. I would have stopped by for a look!
  9. She's been teaching for 19 years and only makes 53K?! No, I wouldn't.
  10. No shot. He's on a very reasonable one year prove-it deal (essentially).
  11. Questionable value? A second round pick from the Rams is basically a guaranteed top 35-40 pick. Do you really think we could have recouped a first round pick from anyone...even with the fifth year exercised?
  12. He had a bad season last year coming off a Lisfrank injury. Was pretty solid his rookie season. Solid tackler, physical player, intelligent, better in zone coverage. Let's let this one play out a little bit before we condemn him.
  13. Whoever said he was released because he was a "Rex pick" besides all the armchair GM's on TSW?
  14. I disagree. Ragland was not bad. I think he becomes a rotational MLB throughout the season, and may be ready to step into a starting role in 2018 when P Brown leaves in FA.
  15. Think of Yates as a "coach on the field" during camp. They're only going to keep 2 quarterbacks on the roster.
  16. I read somewhere that Dennison only likes to keep 2 quarterbacks on the final roster. That true? If so, shouldn't Beane be looking for a good candidate to stash on the PS?
  17. Beane shoved Rags off the trading block and pushed Tyrod Taylor on. Hysteria! Peterman is god.
  18. 6 tackles, 4 solo, 1 TFL so far.
  19. We're (us groomsmen) currently trying to convince our friend to hold his bachelor party weekend in Montreal instead of Vegas. Just way too expensive. My wife and I spent over 1500 on food and drinks alone when we were in Vegas earlier this summer. Crazy. This is the realization I came to while in LV. It's not about gambling anymore for most folks. That's not how they get you anymore.
