  1. That seems about right for you. Cheers, man.
  2. Freakin A man!! I was just saying this to a coworker as I was walking out of work today. I was running around like a crazy person. Absolutely no down time, and not even enough time to eat lunch. When I got home my wife asked me if I wanted to go out to dinner with the kids. I told her no way...I wanted sweat pants, my chair, and pizza delivery. TGIF People still have "non-HD" televisions?
  3. CC is slated to start game 7 if needed, so I doubt they go to him tonight. The bullpen for the Yankees is stocked and well rested with Chad Green, David Robertson, Tommy Kahnley, Jaime Garcia, and Aroldis Chapman. Even if Severino drops a stinker like in the wildcard game I think the Yanks could pull it out. Verlander scares me, as he has been the most impressive pitcher I have seen in the playoffs. If they can hit Keuchel the way they did the other night, however, I think they can get to Verlander.
  4. Severino vs Verlander. What a potentially phenomenal pitching matchup. Who will be able to capitalize on their at-bats and get base runners? I can't wait for the game.
  5. May I ask why you're trolling this thread? Every Yankees fan who's not a drooling moron knows what we're up against in Houston in games 6 and 7. We are aware that Verlander is dominant. What is your MLB team?
  6. Oh yeah? One time I beat Mario Bros with a paper cut on my thumb. Doctor said I might not be able to thumb wrestle ever again. Proved him wrong.
  7. Post at your own risk around here lately. Yeesh. I think some of you chode smokers need to get laid or something. Lighten up fer chrissakes.
  8. Scott "atrocious" Brosius. Haha.
  9. Possibly. I suppose all is fair in love, war and college basketball recruiting though. Hop also recruited and offered '18 SF Frankie Policelli (New Hartford, NY) while at Syracuse, and offered him a scholly pretty much as soon as he got to UW. Again, I don't think there is necessarily anything wrong with this. Just kinda rubs me the wrong way. What is JB and company supposed to say? "No, Hop, please don't recruit players you recruited while you were at Syracuse." I don't think that would happen.
  10. She's got a lot of that psycho vibe going on. You're probably right.
  11. Peterman #24 ranked backup? Rubbish. Obviously folks didn't witness him slaying 2nd and 3rd team defenses all preseason.
  12. I doubt it now, but I think she likely used to be. How else would she land Bill?
  13. Eh, I'm glad Hop is doing well, but I think the Hameir Wright recruitment soured me just a little bit on Hop. He recruited Wright (Albany native) for a couple years while still at Syracuse, and then used that relationship (and likely the perceived discord within the SU program) to lure the uber talented SF to UWashington. Sour grapes perhaps, but I thought Hop should have backed off of Wright out of respect for Red Autry who was also heavily involved in his recruitment. Plenty of solid recruits out there. Personally, I feel as though he should have left Hameir Wright alone. I have not problem with Hop landing Nate Roberts, BTW.
  14. Welp...2018 PF Nate Roberts to Washington. Hop steals another very good recruit away from JB. Cuse moving on to 2018 Center (7'1") Majur Majak from Sudan who is now playing at Roselle Catholic in NJ (same HS as Tyler Ennis and Tyler Roberson). He'll likely get a scholly offer in the next couple days. http://www.syracuse.com/orangebasketball/index.ssf/2017/10/syracuse_basketball_recruiting_moves_onto_7-1_center_majur_majak_from_senegal.html#incart_river_home
  15. Makes very little sense to trade him unless they know something about Glenn's health that we are not privy to.
  16. I'd roll with Dawkins at RG or RT. Just because he had one bad game at LT doesn't mean he is a bad OT. If I was making the call I'd start him at RT and roll with it. He can't possibly be worse than Mills. Quite possibly the scenario. Seattle may be particularly motivated to bolster their OL now with LG Luke Joeckel going down.
  17. This is poor form for the Hue Jackson and the Browns, IMO. If you name the rookie your starter in the preseason, and expect to have a losing season anyway, you let that rookie play it through. Then make a decision on Kizer's future after the season perhaps. I don't know what purpose benching Kizer and starting Hogan served. Bad move.
  18. Unreal game. Judge certainly lit a fire under the team with that moon shot. Love the way Frazier is playing and carrying himself in the dugout. I think this one could end up going the distance with CC taking the mound in game 7. Go Yanks!!
  19. Not a better option than Jordan Mills? He has been so, so bad.
  20. Ahhh...there's the not so hidden agenda.
  21. Jeez! Take it easy man.
  22. This. I'd just as soon put a trash can out there instead of Mills. And the Ducasse experiment needs to be over. I'd much rather have Miller out there.
  23. Important home game against an opponent they should beat. TB is hurting at QB (although I believe Winston will play), but they look to be getting healthy on defense. Especially their LB'ers. I'm not "concerned" about any of these games at this point. I didn't even expect to be 3-2 at this point in the season, so it's all gravy to me. I expect a big game for Buffalo.
  24. Sex parties are great, save for the awkwardness afterward. I find it tacky when they serve food at orgies.
