Whatever, dude.
I say keep kicking the tires on these fringe players. At the very least you are giving them a shot. Show and prove and you earn a roster spot...if not, bring in the next guy.
Great game last night. Kershaw was just a little better than Keuchel, and the Dodgers got some timely hits. Looking forward to the game tonight. Verlander has been unhittable in the playoffs. Should be interesting.
This is how my senior year went. Failed every class with the exceptions of US Government and English, which were the only classes I needed to graduate. Lots of beer, bong hits, and girls.
Mindhunter (Netflix) is a very, very good show, IMO. You have to make it through the first episode, which is kind of "clumsy," but it essentially sets up the story. Murder mystery/drama/forensic psychology deliciousness.
I highly recommend...
I love his talent. Doubt Buffalo brings him in...even if released and they're somehow able to grab him through waivers. Doesn't seem like a McD/Beane type player. I'm thinking that Pittsburgh holds his feel to the fire here. Fine him for missed practices, and make him a healthy scratch on Sundays. Make a statement to team that this is not the right way to go about expressing your displeasure. They're not getting much in return in a trade anyway.
Saquon Barkley will look good in the blue and white. Shame about the Hooker kid. Anyone who has watched more colts games than I know how he was doing? Certainly was an intriguing draft prospect.
Yeah...I don't think Peters wanted to be in Buffalo any more regardless, man. Wasn't there an ugly hold out as well? The FO fumbled that situation. They should have given him a new contract after the 2006 season when he played, IMO, at an all-pro level at RT. They kinda screwed him over.
Ralph was cheap!!!
I said the exact same think. Pinch run Jacoby Ellsbury there and he becomes the DH...Headley to first. That was a head scratcher to me. Also, I have been critical of Girardi all year long about leaving pitchers in too long. That happened with both CC and Kahnle last night, IMO. What was he saving the bullpen for? Poorly managed game, IMO.
Funny, I felt that both the Indians and Astros were superior to the Dodgers entering the playoffs. What I saw was a Dodgers team dominating a very overrated Cubs team. I guess that's why they play the games though. Good luck to everyone with MLB rooting interests moving forward. I'm just looking to watch some good, STRESS FREE, baseball from here on out.
Agreed. Much respect to the Astros. They were absolutely dominant at home the last 2 games, and just flat out looked like the better team overall. The Yankees best years are ahead. I look forward to an exciting World Series.
...a communist sympathizer who was partly responsible for a smuggling ring which brought Cuban goods to the US such as cigars, rum, sugar cane and sex toys, which...
Oh yeah. With Morton taking the mound for the 'stros? The Yanks really knocked him around in game 3 for 7 runs in 3 2/3 innings. All we need are 5/6 good innings out of CC. Chapman can give us 2 innings if needed, and Kahnle/Warren/Green could patch together 4 innings. CC is the guy you want in this situation.
Girardi left Severino in 2 batters too long, IMO. He was clearly done. I predicted this game would go 7 and CC would be the guy. Looking forward to tonight.
