  1. Y'all laughed at my "Fire Mike Waufle" thread. How long does this guy get a pass?
  2. Saquon Barkley will look good in the blue and white. Shame about the Hooker kid. Anyone who has watched more colts games than I know how he was doing? Certainly was an intriguing draft prospect.
  3. Yeah...I don't think Peters wanted to be in Buffalo any more regardless, man. Wasn't there an ugly hold out as well? The FO fumbled that situation. They should have given him a new contract after the 2006 season when he played, IMO, at an all-pro level at RT. They kinda screwed him over. Ralph was cheap!!!
  4. I said the exact same think. Pinch run Jacoby Ellsbury there and he becomes the DH...Headley to first. That was a head scratcher to me. Also, I have been critical of Girardi all year long about leaving pitchers in too long. That happened with both CC and Kahnle last night, IMO. What was he saving the bullpen for? Poorly managed game, IMO.
  5. Funny, I felt that both the Indians and Astros were superior to the Dodgers entering the playoffs. What I saw was a Dodgers team dominating a very overrated Cubs team. I guess that's why they play the games though. Good luck to everyone with MLB rooting interests moving forward. I'm just looking to watch some good, STRESS FREE, baseball from here on out.
  6. Good for him. This kid wants to be out there. I hope he has a big game.
  7. Time After Time - Cindi Lauper I think We're Alone Now - Tiffany Safe and Sound - Taylor Swift
  8. Smores. Without question.
  9. Agreed. Much respect to the Astros. They were absolutely dominant at home the last 2 games, and just flat out looked like the better team overall. The Yankees best years are ahead. I look forward to an exciting World Series.
  10. ...a communist sympathizer who was partly responsible for a smuggling ring which brought Cuban goods to the US such as cigars, rum, sugar cane and sex toys, which...
  11. Largest sex toy heist in history? When and where was the 2nd largest? Was Henry Hill and Jimmy Conway responsible?
  12. Oswald acted alone...with magic bullets the mob purchased from an alien. Nothing to see here.
  13. Oh yeah. With Morton taking the mound for the 'stros? The Yanks really knocked him around in game 3 for 7 runs in 3 2/3 innings. All we need are 5/6 good innings out of CC. Chapman can give us 2 innings if needed, and Kahnle/Warren/Green could patch together 4 innings. CC is the guy you want in this situation.
  14. Girardi left Severino in 2 batters too long, IMO. He was clearly done. I predicted this game would go 7 and CC would be the guy. Looking forward to tonight.
  15. That seems about right for you. Cheers, man.
  16. Freakin A man!! I was just saying this to a coworker as I was walking out of work today. I was running around like a crazy person. Absolutely no down time, and not even enough time to eat lunch. When I got home my wife asked me if I wanted to go out to dinner with the kids. I told her no way...I wanted sweat pants, my chair, and pizza delivery. TGIF People still have "non-HD" televisions?
  17. CC is slated to start game 7 if needed, so I doubt they go to him tonight. The bullpen for the Yankees is stocked and well rested with Chad Green, David Robertson, Tommy Kahnley, Jaime Garcia, and Aroldis Chapman. Even if Severino drops a stinker like in the wildcard game I think the Yanks could pull it out. Verlander scares me, as he has been the most impressive pitcher I have seen in the playoffs. If they can hit Keuchel the way they did the other night, however, I think they can get to Verlander.
  18. Severino vs Verlander. What a potentially phenomenal pitching matchup. Who will be able to capitalize on their at-bats and get base runners? I can't wait for the game.
  19. May I ask why you're trolling this thread? Every Yankees fan who's not a drooling moron knows what we're up against in Houston in games 6 and 7. We are aware that Verlander is dominant. What is your MLB team?
  20. Oh yeah? One time I beat Mario Bros with a paper cut on my thumb. Doctor said I might not be able to thumb wrestle ever again. Proved him wrong.
  21. Post at your own risk around here lately. Yeesh. I think some of you chode smokers need to get laid or something. Lighten up fer chrissakes.
  22. Scott "atrocious" Brosius. Haha.
  23. Possibly. I suppose all is fair in love, war and college basketball recruiting though. Hop also recruited and offered '18 SF Frankie Policelli (New Hartford, NY) while at Syracuse, and offered him a scholly pretty much as soon as he got to UW. Again, I don't think there is necessarily anything wrong with this. Just kinda rubs me the wrong way. What is JB and company supposed to say? "No, Hop, please don't recruit players you recruited while you were at Syracuse." I don't think that would happen.
