  1. You think he will be active? He hasn't been on the active roster since week 8. That would be the ultimate BB kick in the pills
  2. You simply must be aggressive on offense to keep up with NE. Best way to beat Brady is to keep him off the field. We really need our running game to step up this week for us to have any chance to win.
  3. What?? IMO, he'd be out there, especially in goalline situations, if he were playing well. No way he'd be inactive. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
  4. It’s more than a “numbers thing” that is keeping their 6.4 million dollar RB inactive on Sundays. It has very little to do with formations. Gilly played poorly, didn’t take care of the football, and quickly fell out of favor with the hoodie. I watched it happen. If he were playing well he’d be out there. Lagarrett Blount didn’t play special teams, and he had like 19 TD’s last year.
  5. Won’t see Gilly or Hogan. Gilly fell out of favor with the hoodie after a few fumbles.
  6. No way in hell he is 6’1”
  7. They recruited Bamba really hard until he made it clear to the coaching staff that he wasn’t interested.
  8. Agreed. Snagging is slimy dirtbag stuff. They snag the crap out of salmon in Alaska. It’s horrible.
  9. For a seemingly smart guy you’re really slow on the uptake sometimes.
  10. I hate everything about that organization from the owner on down.
  11. Syracuse Basketball. My family had seasons from 1983 until 2009 when my father’s physical health declined and I was living in Alaska. We had 4 seats, but I think I went to just about every game with my Father since I was about 4 years old. I still catch 4-5 games per year, and I always take my son (7) to a game for his birthday in December. So many amazing memories with my pops.
  12. 14th Star Maple Breakfast Stout is my new steeeeeze!! Love it! And it’s not just for breakfast anymore
  13. I need to get my 25 years in Vermont in order to collect my full retirement. I can’t afford to start over again at zero in another state’s retirement system. Sadly... Can they not? I mean you’d assume that anyone with reasonable intelligence could pick it up, right? It’s not rocket surgery!
  14. This is good advice, and my better judgement tells me to stay put and make the best of it. It would be so irresponsible at this point to make such a great change. My family, and our lifestyle we have become accustomed to, would certainly be in jeopardy if I tried to dive head first into a new career. I could, however, start by taking a few vocational courses over he summer to wet my beak. Interestingly, this is my 11th year as an educational psychologist, and I didn’t start disliking my job until I moved to Vermont. This state’s educational system is soooooo messed up.
  15. When I graduated from HS my grandfather offered to pay for me to go to welding school, and also offered to pay for all of the equipment I needed. I wanted to go to college because it was “the thing to do” and I wanted to party and get laid. Which I did plenty of... There isn’t a single day that goes by that I don’t regret/think about my grandfather’s offer. Although, if I had chosen that path I never would have met my wife and had my kids. Making crucial life decisions when you’re in your late teens-early twenties is very hard.
  16. Is that a shark with a chainsaw jumping menacingly toward Ian Ziering in the front of the boat?
  17. I want to learn a trade. Maybe plumbing or welding? Everyone thinks I’m crazy. My mother cried when I told her last week I have a doctoral degree in educational psychology. Have a pretty good paying job, great benefits/retirement, and only work 185 days out of the year. I’m not happy though. Your job is supposed to make you happy, not miserable, amirite?
  18. If you can’t see the difference between Kirk Cousins and Tyrod, I don’t know if we have anything else to discuss here.
  19. Really, because I would take Phillip Rivers in a half a second right now. I don’t see the Cousins parallels, anyway. Wait, can we get Phillip Rivers??
  20. Bradford? Seriously? His knees are held together by spit and duct tape. No thanks. The only one I would even consider over drafting a QB early is Cousins.
  21. I’m in the same boat. I’m kind of stuck because I have about 175K invested in my education, and leaving my job would be nearly impossible because I have bills to pay and a family to feed, but I do have summers off (late June through late August). I was thinking about chipping away at another degree or training program by taking summer courses. What are are you thinking about going back to school to study? What are your new career/job goals?
  22. Don’t be surprised to see Josh Allen rocket up draft boards after the Senior Bowl and the combine. The kid has been playing with a sprained AC joint in his throwing shoulder for much of the season, and has absolutely no offensive line. His skills will shine through. I hope he stays under the radar as he has this season, but he likely won’t.
  23. Jalen Carey and Darius Bazley are both top 40 recruits (I think Bazley is 9). Buddy Boeheim not nearly as accomplished, but he is the shooter that we desperately need. Jalen Carey is that pure point guard we have been lacking. Bazley is special...probably our best recruit since Melo (I realize that is becoming cliche, but I really feel that way). Loving the idea of Bazley playing at the 4 next to Sidibe/Chukwu next year. The future at Syracuse is very, very bright. We will have incredible depth at all positions next year.
  24. That is exactly what happened. Huerter took his sweet time committing, as was his right to do, but by the time he was ready to make a decision he no longer had a scholarship available at Syracuse. Boeheim could have pulled a dirtbag Tom Crean move, and lifted a scholly from a verbal commit for Huerter, but he didn’t.
