    We just fostered an Australian Shepherd mix after our dog passed away in September. Interestingly, I learned that many of the shelter dogs here in VT are shipped up from the Carolinas. Our dog spent her first couple years in South Carolina. Apparently, a lot of “high kill” shelters down there.

    Yes, drafting Milano was yet another questionable personnel and evaluation move by his regime. Too bad we missed on him and he’s playing for the Titans. Oh wait, this bumbling regime drafted a starting LB in the 5th round. You are so ridiculous.

    Bowles seems like a good coach. His players seem to play really hard for him. Horrible drafting in recent history has hurt them; especially their handling of the QB position. 2017 picks Adams and Maye have been a good, physical tandem. I think this is probably the best move for the Jets.

    Indeed, but there is also something to be said for continuity. Changing coordinators every season isn’t good for “the process.” Dennison has given us some head scratchers, for sure, but I don’t think he’s been bad enough to fire after one season. I think he’s been decent, especially given what he has to work with on offense outside of Shady.

    Agreed. Does anyone proofread these things? Improper punctuation, omitted words, less than stellar grammar. Yikes. Maybe just a pet peeve of mine....

    Makes sense. Any updates on what has come of this? Sounded kind of serious; especially for a coach to threaten a player to that extent in front of other people. Will Hughes be disciplined?

    What happened to the defensive player who got into it with McDermott after the NE game? I believe McCoach said something to the effect of “I’ll be here next week, but you won’t.”? I’ll be expecting a surprise healthy scratch on Sunday. Any updates on this DD?

    I didn’t get ****!! I did, however, inform my supervisor last spring that I was going to be interviewing for other positions (I never did), so I’m getting a new annual bonus of $5,500 deposited by my school district into my 403b. Pretty sweet.

    We use fuel oil here in Vermont. A friend of mine just ruptured his tank trying to jack it up. I guess one of the legs needed to be fixed or something. Anyway, I believe he said he had something like 20 yards of topsoil wheelbarrowed into his basement to soak it up, and then they had to shovel it all out. Crazy ****.
