Oh, I’m not afraid of the cold. I’ve had my eyes frozen open several times walking from my car into work at -65/-70. No wind chill. That is cold. I’m afraid of the power going out, and not being able to watch the game on Sunday!

It’s snowing outside in Vermont Tomorrow and Saturday will be kinda scary here though. They’re forecasting 30-40 mph winds and wind chill from -25 to -40. Expecting mass power outages. If my power goes out, I’m bringing the Hammersticks clan to @Gugny‘s house!

Dang! My (then new) bride and I both lost our jobs on the same day on an April Friday back in 2008. Both RIF’ed due to state budget cuts. My wife was 3 months pregnant with my son, and we were in the process of looking to buy a home. Completely hit us by surprise. But we were young, relatively unattached to where we were living, and able to easily relocate. What is your situation? Do you anticipate being able to find something near you that you’re qualified for? Will you have to relocate? This sucks man. Sorry.

I was wondering about future seasons, but the way it ended, it didn’t seem like there were any loose ends or anything to be expanded upon. I loved how seeming aloof Frank Griffin was at the end during the gun fight. Was he completely nuts, or did he really think he had a premonition about the specifics of his death? Or a little bit of both. Guess he was wrong. Again, excellent job by Jeff Daniels in that role. What a villain!

I am also interested to hear both of your thoughts on S1 of Godless. Like I posted earlier, I didn’t really enjoy the show until around episode 4 or 5, but the last few were outstanding, IMO. The finale left me, well, I don’t want to spoil anything... Hurry up NG!!

Ehhh...I’m not buying the Jags a world beaters. They have been exposed to some degree in recent weeks, and their run defense has struggled. Also, I agree with previous posts in that our secondary is going to give Bortles fits. Throw in a little pass rush, and I can see some turnovers happening. Sure they’re favored, but I’m not at all feeling like they are vastly superior to us. It just might be a field goal battle, and I like our kicker.
