  1. Gross. No...just no. And now I’m envisioning Gugny naked on a bed of lettuce eating tuna fish. For some reason Gugny looks just like Jack Black in my mind
  2. I’d rather have Rashaan Evans AND Vita Vae/Maurice Hurst
  3. We’ll take it. As much as I’ve grown to dislike Pitt, it is sad what has happened to that program since Jamie Dixon left for TCU. It doesn’t get much easier for the rest of January, although we do have a good stretch of road games. Hopefully Autry and Chukwu can take some of that foul shooting practice time and practice dunking the basketball. Nice game for Howard last night. Such a grease ball...
  4. The show certainly has evolved, but Howard is one of the best (if not the best) interviewers of all time.
  5. What’s a facebooker? Wait, let me type it into Ask Jeeves.
  6. I am seriously jacked up about this ‘18 class. Bazley is unreal. A 6’9” guy who can shoot, handle like a PG, and run the floor with the best of them playing the 3. Jalen Carey is a very good all around combo guard. I think he’s currently like 53rd ranked recruit (and many think very underrated). Aggressive, slasher type guard who can shoot the lights out. If Battle does return, I don’t know how JB can keep this kid off the court. Watch out Howard. Buddy Boeheim is reputed to be a tremendous shooter. I don’t know how they find him time though with transfer Elijah Hughes eligible to play and Howard Washington developing. Maybe a redshirt year for Buddy? If Battle returns, I envision the starting line-up being Howard, Battle, Bazley, Brissett, and Chukwu. With Jalen Carey first off the bench for the guards, and Moyer, Dolezaj and Sidibe seeing minutes in the frontcourt. That’s silly depth.
  7. Not particularly.
  8. My wife binged on pickles when she was pregnant with both of my kids. I learned to always keep 3-4 jars on hand when I came home one night to find her dipping leaves of romaine lettuce into the juice of an empty pickle jar.
  9. 2018 commit Darius Bazley selected to McDonalds All-American game. Can’t wait to see him in action. Going to be a beast for us next year. https://www.google.com/amp/s/articles.syracuse.com/orangebasketball/index.ssf/2018/01/syracuse_recruit_darius_bazley_named_to_mcdonalds_all-american_game.amp
  10. Serious question here. Does it smell like body odor in there? My wife goes to the hot yoga here with her friends once in a while. Said it is good “workout,” but there is a distinct odor of BO and farts. Maybe it’s just a Vermont hippie thing....
  11. Yes, but he hasn’t not proven a thing yet....
  12. Funny...this is what popped into my head when I saw the thread title. Hector, Worth-Worth, and Mongo. What show was that from?? Was it a Garfield spin off?
  13. Haven’t done it yet, but I’ll try anything 3 or 4 times.
  14. I assume it’s just poor grammar. Like “Johnny, do you want to come with me to Bed Bath & Beyond to pick out new drapes for the guest bathroom?” “Namaste here and watch the game because I don’t give a crap about drapes.”
  15. I'd rather stick needles in my testicles. Good luck!
  16. Doesn’t the dad look like Harry Dunne in Dumb & Dumber? weird, creepy schizz.....
  17. This^^^ I would like Keenum on a reasonable 1-2 year deal, but some team will gladly over pay for him. He’s steady and gutsy, but largely unspectacular, IMO.
  18. Agreed that some of the best eating in Vegas (or anywhere) can be found off the beaten path and in some very unassuming and simple joints. During our trip to Vegas this past summer, arguably the best meal we had was at a Vietnamese place about 6 miles away from the strip. Simple, cheap food with tons of flavor. I ate tripe for the first time ever and loved it! There is something to be said for fine dining, however. I love the chef’s tasting menus that come with wine/spirit pairings for each course. To me it’s worth the money for the experience. Bouchon is one of those places, IMO.
  19. I believe you are correct to some degree, and I would venture to guess that his conservative play has been encouraged and reinforced by the coaching staff.
  20. It’s called Post Traumatic Drought Disorder, and we all suffer from it to some degree
  21. I don’t believe we can compared Whaley to the current McBeane regime. While Whaley seemed to be more of a scout in GM’s clothing, Beane seems to be a true general manager who has been given a great deal of control (along with McD) in personnel decisions. Beane seems to be resolute in his decision making; never hesitant to make moves that will improve the roster and the coaching staff. He has made bold, controversial moves (e.g., Warkins, Darby, Dareus) without hesitation or apology. I have no facts to support this, but it really feels to me that Beane and McDermott have almost complete control over TJ roster. And when Beane strongly intimates that goal number 1 is to find their QB, I tend to believe him. The only “FO” person who I think has any clout in this area is TPegs, and I really believe he has a lot of trust in Beane. I think they will either trade or release Tyrod, bring in a veteran FA quarterback (although I don’t think they will break the bank for a guy like Cousins), and I believe they will also take a QB early (1st or 2nd) in the draft. Beane, IMO, tells it like it is, and makes decisions without hesitation. If he weren’t allowed such agency in his role, I don’t think he would have ever come to Buffalo.
  22. Cheers, Gugny!
  23. Help me understand how Russ Brandon is responsible for our current QB problem. Do you really think Brandon has any say on personnel decisions? Especially with the new HC/GM?
