  1. Sounds kinky. Maybe you’re logic is flawed, Stewie. A sandwich is a filling between 2 slices of bread. Everything else is a variation of a sandwich (e.g., hot dog, sub, hoagie, grinder, wrap, etc...).
  2. No it's not. It's a wheat-based meat and cheese tube.
  3. One of the few 1 techs that can be a very, very good 3 tech, IMHO.
  4. If you eat your hot dog between 2 slices of bread, you can call it a sandwich.
  5. Agreed. He's one of the best out there right now.
  6. Thought you would say Italian Beef sandwich from Al's or Johnnie's.
  7. As with anything of this nature, I wonder who was the first person to do it?
  8. This is how I handled it with my family this past October. I have 2 kids...7 and 3 at the time it happened. I was as honest with my children as I could be, given their ages. I told them on a Tuesday night, and we planned a special family night with our dog on Thursday night before she was euthanized on Friday. We made some steaks on the grill and allowed the dog to eat with us at dinner, we allowed the kids to pick something (e.g., toy, blanket, treat) for her to be buried with, and we all snuggled in with her on the couch and watched a movie (she normally wasn't allowed on the couch). It allowed my children to have some closure without having to experience all the gory details. Went as well as it could have gone.
  9. I suppose I'm not in the camp that feels that any of the '18 QB's are worth mortgaging the farm for. I don't think any of them are at that level, although I think Rosen is a day 1 starter. I'd rather use our draft picks to bolster other positions (LB, WR, OL, CB, DL), bring in a veteran QB (e.g., Alex Smith), and draft a QB in the first or second round. I do also like Mike White out of WKU as a potential day 2 pick.
  10. I also would prefer a QB with more limited physical skills that completes >65% of his passes. I disagree, however, with the TT comparison, as Jackson is a far better passer than Tyrod was coming out of college, and seemingly more physically gifted. It also is fair to say, IMHO, that LJ has improved as a passer tremendously over the past three years. Certainly not a finished product yet, as newly drafted college QB's rarely are, but I'm trying to think of QB's that may be available at picks 21-22 in the first round. I do not want to trade up for a QB. And if Jackson or Mayfield are there at 21-22, I think both of those players warrant consideration. FTR...my QB's are ranked as follows in order of my preference: 1. Josh Rosen 2. Sam Darnold 3. Josh Allen 4. Baker Mayfield 5. Lamar Jackson
  11. Common man. Disirregardless, a hot dog is not a sandwich.
  12. Well then back your argument then. Other posters have offered their opinion, but have made points to support their stance. You have offered nothing but seeming disdain for the Buffalo Bills in general, and in Lamar Jackson.
  13. Impossible. He is a run first QB who can’t read a defense or go through his progressions. Tyrod 2.0, amirite?
  14. First of all...oh most definitely. Secondly, she should be pardoned because she is a public school teacher in the Bronx. Just let her keep teaching. That’s punishment enough.
  15. Fair point. But I would contend that all stats need to be considered in context. Something to note is that LJ’s pass completion % increased by 2-3 point per season. This in spite of a pourous offensive line, a real lack of talent around him, and a ton of drops. I wonder what his adjusted comp % would be if you took out the drops. My opinion is that I think that LJ has become a better and more accurate passer than his comp % reflects.
  16. Jim Kelly’s NFL career completion % was 60.2. Just sayin....
  17. I do not want Tyrod back, and LJ is not my favorite QB prospect in this draft. After Rosen and Darnold, my favorite is Allen. I’m not trying to make any argument in particular. I’m merely offering an opinion in opposition to posters who are saying that LJ is merely a running QB who can’t read defenses or go through his progressions. Having watched a lot of Jackson over the years, he has made tremendous strides to become a better pocket passer. He is reputed to be an extremely hard working player who is constantly watching film and working to better himself. If Dennison was still OC I would be opposed to drafting LJ. The Daboll hire, however, has me intrigued about what he could do with a QB like LJ. I think he has tremendous upside.
  18. You do know we just hired a new OC, correct? One, in fact, that is regarded as an OC who adapts his offense to capitalize on the strength of his QB and other play makers...
  19. Fake news. You obviously have no idea what you’re talking about, friendo.
  20. He has improved every year as a passer, and by all accounts is a film room junky. Very hard working, motivated kid.
  21. I think LJ is underrated as a passer, and has gotten a lot better at reading defenses and going through his progressions. His footwork needs some help, which affects his accuracy at times, but this is something that can be fixed. He has rare arm talent, good instincts, and very good pocket presence, IMO. Very high ceiling, and the athleticism is merely a bonus that will surely reigned in in the NFL. I’m not saying he’s a sure fire franchise guy, but I think the Tyrod 2.0 cliche is growing tiresome.
  22. This is a lazy assessment, IMHO.
