School is closed tomorrow, but I was planning on taking the day off anyway. Tough thing is that I have to drive to Boston in the morning. My son’s hockey team is having a little scrimmage during the first period intermission at the Bruins/Flyers game. The drive is going to be scary. I’d bail, but I have over $500 invested in this trip between tickets and hotel.

I wonder how many of them I could take in a fight at one time? I think at least 4 or 5.

One guy replies “bills” on Twitter, yet when asked about his reply (by Talbot) he says it was purely speculation. Now everyone is freaking out. I love the offseason. Yes, they are both tremendous athletes who can run, but that’s about it. Jackson is vastly superior to Tyrod as a passer already. That said...I want Baker Mayfield.

I lived in Seabreeze (Irondequoit) for a couple years prior to grad school. Made the trek over to Webster for Bay Hots all the time when I was craving a plate. The Bill Gray’s right down the street just wasn’t nearly as good. My sleeper is Mark’s on Monroe, but maybe that’s because every time I ate there I was hammered ?

Bay Hots had the best plates in WNY, IMO.

No quarterback in this draft, like a Carson Wentz, to “mortgage the farm” to move up for. I’d stay put and stockpile talent with our draft assets unless a guy like Allen or Mayfield slide into the teens. I’d be happy with giving up 21 or 22, a late round pick, and maybe a pick in 2019 to move up 7-9 spots. I’d also be happy with Lamar Jackson at 21.

Most of what I’m seeing and hearing is that Cuse needs to win 2 games in the ACC tourney to have a shot. Will get Wake on Tuesday. If UNC wins tonight the Cuse/Wake winner would get NC State in the 2nd round. If duke wins...it’s UNC ? go Heels!! Welp...

Can anyone outside of Vermont get their hands on Lawson’s Sip of Sunshine? Used to be I could only find it when I went up north to Burlington. Within the past few weeks, however, I’ve seen it at 3 different beer stores here in town (Middlebury). A buddy of mine said he found it at a beer store in my home town, Auburn, NY. Interesting.
