  1. Couldn’t agree more with your assessment. Rosen is by far the most polished QB prospect in this class. His footwork and mechanics are as close to perfect as we have seen in a while, and he’s got a very solid arm. Would love Rosen.
  2. Roses are red. Violets are blue. I’m a schizophrenic, and so am I.
  3. ? You!! ? Maybe you suck at buying cars, but I don’t. Helps to have an experienced salesman guide you through the process, so you know approximately how much “wiggle room” the dealer has on the vehicle. I run this ****!
  4. USC, Oklahoma State (beat Kansas twice), and maybe St. Mary’s. Some say Notre Dame, and they did beat Syracuse head to head, but not near the quality wins of SU. Hey, some times you catch a break, some times you don’t. This year we got a lucky bounce.
  5. I just traded in my ‘09 Subaru Impreza a few weeks ago. Toyota/Subaru salesman friend of mine told me that they typically stick to plus or minus $1000 of the KBB value depending on how badly they want to move the vehicle. My Impreza was in pretty good condition, and had only 93,000 miles. When I entered all the info into KBB it game me a trade in value range of 2400-3200. When they offered me 3850 for my car I was very pleased. The car I picked must have been on the lot for a while, because they actually lowered the sticker price from the time I test drove it to the time we sat down and negotiated a price. I ended up getting 750 more off the price of my new car, plus they agreed to re-paint the hood as part of he deal (had 3 or 4 good sized chips in it). I think I made out pretty well.
  6. Most raw in terms of playing from under center and running a pro style offense? In this regard, I’d put him ahead of Mayfield, Jackson, and Rudolph. Easily.
  7. You’re putting words into my mouth. I never said that Mayfield couldn’t adapt to a more pro-style offense, and I never said that the senior bowl is the end all, be all of NFL talent evaluation. I merely offered the opinion, based on what I saw from both QB’s working from under center at the Senior Bowl, that Josh Allen is more prepared to run a pro-style offense. I don’t think that many posters here would disagree with that assessment. Right now, IMO, I think Rosen, Darnold, and Allen (in that order) are the most prepared to take over a NFL pro-style offense. Don’t let your man-crush for Mayfield and his sassy facial hair cloud your judgement.
  8. No I’m not. I’m merely comparing a small sample size of the two QB’s when asked to play in a pro style offense and take snaps under center. Allen did well. Mayfield did not do so well. Mayfield is likely, similar to Watson in Houston, going to need an offense designed around his capabilities.
  9. I think he's a better fit for a pro-style offense. Played out of shotgun, pistol, 3 step drop, 7 step drop, and can run if needed. I think a good OC can use him in any offense, where as an OC would need to build their offense around Mayfield. Did you watch Mayfield playing from under center in the senior bowl? He was a mess. JMO, man.
  10. Mixed bag. Plus, he plays for Wyoming. I think the kid has the raw materials, and will be a good one with the right coaching and good talent around him. I have him as my 3rd QB behind Rosen and Darnold.
  11. Isn't Allen #2 on Mayock's QB rankings? Behind Darnold and in front of Rosen? I love what I saw from this kid in the senior bowl game.
  12. Seems pretty linear, Sheriff!!
  13. Rosen, Allen, and Darnold....in that order. I’ve lost my love for Mayfield. Not convinced he can adapt to a NFL offense. Edit: 1: Browns: Barkley 2: Giants: Chubb 3: Colts: Fitzpatrick 4: Browns: Darnold Sorry, no trade ups in top 4.
  14. I’d be happy with Rosen or Mayfield. My preference would be Rosen. In terms of highest floor...it’s him. Highest ceiling...that is TBD. Rosen is the most polished NFL QB prospect, IMHO.
  15. I don’t want to draft Rosen because he looks like a bird.
  16. True. I'll also add that the team that I watched beat Miami and Clemson was a completely different team than I watched blow one to ND, lose to a horrible Wake team, and lay down against UNC in the ACC tourney. This team is wildly inconsistent, but I think they have the potential to go on a run in the NCAA's. We don't have the depth, but I'll take our best 5 against most teams' starting 5. Frank Howard will continue to be the key player.
  17. High level business meeting.
  18. Becky Likes the Smell, Double IPA. Bay State Brewing Co., Mass. Strong IPA (10%) that doesn’t taste like a strong IPA. Nice and smooth. Drank a 4 pack in Boston this weekend and I was feeling zero pain.
  19. Not only do I think they should trade up for a top QB, I think they should give this draftee Terrell Owens’ key to the city!! I would be happy with Darnold, Rosen, Mayfield, Allen, and Lamar “action” Jackson...in that order.
  20. Yes. Just leave early enough in the morning so you don’t see her face when the sun comes up.
  21. Gotta go get the papers...get the papers.
  22. Under, Over, Over, Push (Rosen, Darnold, Mayfield)
  23. Cousins to Buffalo is soooo like a month ago done deal. This rumor has traction now after being corroborated by my high level source. This person currently is employed at OBD, but has a reason for letting this out. When the time comes I will reveal my favorite Chinese restaurant in the greater Batavia area. Leaving bread crumbs for my birds. Chirp chirp. Boom! Now you’re rowing on both sides of the canoe. Well done!
  24. It’s gonna smell like low tide at your place. Close the windows, or you’ll attract seagulls.
