  1. Possible, but not likely. As a previous poster suggested, why would they give up so much for anything other than a QB?
  2. Could they even afford his contract at this point? This doesn’t make sense.
  3. Rosen doesn’t have a howitzer by any means, but I believe he has more than adequate arm strength to make any throw. The concussions are definitely a concern though. Still, I’d love Rosen if we were able to swing a deal and move up.
  4. Trade the bengals #12 for #21 and Tyrod Taylor. Turns out we might need him.
  5. Care to elaborate? This is the type of lazy post that makes this board unreadable at times. If you don’t like a particular QB he’s automatically EJ Manuel.... why?
  6. This is what I was thinking. By the looks of things....probably have to burn a 2nd rounder on him. Seems to be rising.
  7. Completely neglecting the fact that Allen and the Wyoming offense lost their starting center, top 3 WR’s, and top 2 RB’s before this season. Wyoming isn’t Alabama. They can’t just re-load. Put Sam Darnold on Wyoming this past season, and I wonder how he would have done?
  8. Just my perception, but most of the Allen haters I have tangled with are so enamored with another prospect (e.g., Mayfield) that they are automatically convinced that Allen sucks. Rosen is my #1 guy, BTW, but I actually trust our front office for the first time in a very long time.
  9. Maybe? Maybe not? I could see Allen ending up being a Jake Locker. I also could see him ending up more like a Ben Roethlisberger. Thankfully, we have Beane and a staff of professional talent evaluators to make that decision for us.
  10. Yeah, Nostradamus Kiper? And your opinion and $5 will get me a cup of coffee at Starbucks. So there’s that...
  11. The Josh Allen hate on this board is lip-smacking delicious!!! Truth is...none of us have any idea. Carry on though....
  12. You’ll probably get flamed for this, but I have thought about this possibility. I could see a scenario where we land McCarron and then load up on BPA talent in the draft. Interesting...
  13. Couldn’t agree more with your assessment. Rosen is by far the most polished QB prospect in this class. His footwork and mechanics are as close to perfect as we have seen in a while, and he’s got a very solid arm. Would love Rosen.
  14. Roses are red. Violets are blue. I’m a schizophrenic, and so am I.
  15. ? You!! ? Maybe you suck at buying cars, but I don’t. Helps to have an experienced salesman guide you through the process, so you know approximately how much “wiggle room” the dealer has on the vehicle. I run this ****!
  16. USC, Oklahoma State (beat Kansas twice), and maybe St. Mary’s. Some say Notre Dame, and they did beat Syracuse head to head, but not near the quality wins of SU. Hey, some times you catch a break, some times you don’t. This year we got a lucky bounce.
  17. I just traded in my ‘09 Subaru Impreza a few weeks ago. Toyota/Subaru salesman friend of mine told me that they typically stick to plus or minus $1000 of the KBB value depending on how badly they want to move the vehicle. My Impreza was in pretty good condition, and had only 93,000 miles. When I entered all the info into KBB it game me a trade in value range of 2400-3200. When they offered me 3850 for my car I was very pleased. The car I picked must have been on the lot for a while, because they actually lowered the sticker price from the time I test drove it to the time we sat down and negotiated a price. I ended up getting 750 more off the price of my new car, plus they agreed to re-paint the hood as part of he deal (had 3 or 4 good sized chips in it). I think I made out pretty well.
  18. Most raw in terms of playing from under center and running a pro style offense? In this regard, I’d put him ahead of Mayfield, Jackson, and Rudolph. Easily.
  19. You’re putting words into my mouth. I never said that Mayfield couldn’t adapt to a more pro-style offense, and I never said that the senior bowl is the end all, be all of NFL talent evaluation. I merely offered the opinion, based on what I saw from both QB’s working from under center at the Senior Bowl, that Josh Allen is more prepared to run a pro-style offense. I don’t think that many posters here would disagree with that assessment. Right now, IMO, I think Rosen, Darnold, and Allen (in that order) are the most prepared to take over a NFL pro-style offense. Don’t let your man-crush for Mayfield and his sassy facial hair cloud your judgement.
  20. No I’m not. I’m merely comparing a small sample size of the two QB’s when asked to play in a pro style offense and take snaps under center. Allen did well. Mayfield did not do so well. Mayfield is likely, similar to Watson in Houston, going to need an offense designed around his capabilities.
  21. I think he's a better fit for a pro-style offense. Played out of shotgun, pistol, 3 step drop, 7 step drop, and can run if needed. I think a good OC can use him in any offense, where as an OC would need to build their offense around Mayfield. Did you watch Mayfield playing from under center in the senior bowl? He was a mess. JMO, man.
