  1. I didn’t pick up on Ducasse’s struggles when I went last week, but you seem to have much more expertise in that area. I wonder if they’ll ever get Teller some reps with the 1’s at LG? I focused on him quite a bit, and he looked really good to me...especially in the run game where he was simply ferocious.
  2. Forget Cousins. Dalvin Cook is going to lead the league in rushing yards this season. Vikings are SB contenders, IMHO. With that defense....
  3. What the hell was that?!
  4. Do you have a Fletch to English conversion app? ?
  5. My 10 year old 40” Samsung in the master bedroom has a much better picture than my 55” Vizio that I have in the living room. Not even close. I’m going to upgrade my living room TV to a 60” Samsung 4K before football season arrives, for sure. Although, I will say that I have been very happy with my Vizio. If I didn’t have the comparison I might be compelled to get another one.
  6. 1998 called and said they wanted their “not” back.
  7. You probably also watched the battle of Gettysburg. Must have been a B word in standard definition.
  8. A few things, actually. I could hear people laughing and lots of back and forth banter as he made his way toward where my son was standing. Most of the guys just say a few words, sign something, and move on down the line. While he was signing a jersey for a guy right near us, there were SJF employees throwing t-shirts into the crowd. One of the guys threw a bullet right in our direction. Everyone near us put their hands up to catch it, but my son (8 yrs old) put his right hand up and miraculously snared it out of mid-air. It was pretty cool. Wyatt turned to my son, laughed out loud, and said something to the effect of “holy crap kid...you have better hands than most of our receivers” which drew a big laugh from the crowd. Then, a couple fans asked him for his gloves, and he happily handed them over. After that a female fan said “Hey Wyatt, can I have one of your cleats?” He replied (and again I’m paraphrasing) “Oh please don’t make me do that. That wouldn’t be a good thing for either of us. It’s pretty hot out here and my feet are smelly.” Again getting a big laugh from the crowd. He just seemed like a really kind, likeable guy. I thought the whole first team o-line looked very good, actually. Especially for this stage in the preseason.
  9. He definitely plays with a mean streak similar to Richie Incognito, and he looks humungous out there.
  10. Had an awesome time at TC today with my son. Thanks again to @Just Jack for the tickets. It’s been a couple years, so it was especially nice to get back to SJF. My son got a bunch of autographs from players including Malachi Dupri, Robert Foster, Hauschka, Reid Ferguson, Wyatt Teller (who was hilarious), Harrison Phillips (who seemed to be really quiet but played awesome and signed for just about everyone), Austin Proel, and Nate Peterman. It was really interesting following along with the Twitter reports while following practice. Quite a few of the tweets from camp reporters didn’t seem to be entirely accurate. For example, there were a few times certain quarterbacks were praised for making great passes, but watching from the stands, it was clear to everyone that it would have been a sack. There were quite a few instances of this which reminds me that these things aren’t always entirely accurate and/or lack context. A few observations from memory: - It was tough to evaluate the QB’s. They all had their ups and downs. What was clear is that Josh Allen is a “fiery” type of player who I think will be an excellent leader if he back up his good leadership presence with play on the field. McCarron was probably the most consistent player today, but he (and Peterman) just kind of seem to be going through the motions. Allen is always taking to coaches after his reps, practicing his footwork/mechanics, and encouraging the other players. - Hughes and Yarborough seemed to be virtually unblockable today. Hughes was awesome at rushing the edge, as usual. Yarborough seemed to be all over the field. Lorax also seemed to make quite a few plays. - Robert Foster was especially impressive. He and Allen never seemed to be on the right page, however, as several times Allen appeared to be looking for the back-shoulder through and Foster would run something different. Malachi Dupri was also impressive to me. Also, it seems like Clay is going to be a huge part of this offense. - I think Daboll’s offense is going to be fun to watch. Lots of different looks out there including some RPO mixed in. - Shady didn’t play all that much it seemed (at least in 11 on 11’s), but he flashed his typical electric stuff out there when he got touches. The guy definitely still has “it.” I could see him playing 2-3 more years easily if he stays healthy. Chris Ivory is sneaky fast. Had an awesome run off tackle that would have gone for a long TD. Absolutely smoked the secondary. - Harrison Phillips seemed to play a lot of 1 tech today. Mainly occupied the center and OG, which was good, but I hope they have broader plans for him. - I think Wyatt Teller is going to be very tough to keep off the field. He played the entire time with the 2nd team at RG, as John Miller played with the 1st team (and looked good). I didn’t pay close enough attention to evaluate him in pass protection, but it was difficult to not notice him in run blocking. The guy is an absolute bulldozer, and is really good at getting to the second level. As I mentioned earlier, he was absolutely hilarious when he was signing autographs. Great guy. That’s about all that comes to mind right now. Wish I was able to take notes, but I was really enjoying spending time with my son. He has always loves the Bills, but now he is old enough to really appreciate and understand the game. I’m absolutely hooked now....can’t wait for the first preseason game!!! Go Bills!!
  11. I’d very much enjoy seeing you try to treat Boyst like a punching bag. Let us know when you plan on doing that, tough nuts. That would be fun.
  12. I’m looking for 2 tickets to take my son to TC on Sunday. I looked to see where I could pick some up, but apparently the practice is sold out. Anyone have 2 extra? Would be much appreciated. Thanks.
  13. Vape pen works inside the theater. I walk out in the hall for a second and take a puff or two. Can barely smell it.
  14. That would depend on the factors involved. Why is this individual completely alienated from their peer group? How do they feel about it? What do they attribute it to? Likely a lot of factors in play. Probably too sensitive to discuss here given that you have posted and “shouted” about your situation. I’d be happy to discuss if you want to PM me.
  15. In some cases, yes. In other cases, however, some of these people absolutely NEED these medications to function. I will say that the system is set up to make it very easy to be prescribed meds without a comprehensive evaluation; further exacerbating the issue of “people always looking for an easy answer through meds.” They are actually led to believe this to be the case, IMO.
  16. Have I ever shared the story about the time I was in the locker room at the gym and witnessed my HS calculus teacher blow drying his wiener? He had one foot up on a bench, Captain Morgan style, and had that thing fully stretched out. I will never be able to erase that image from my brain.
  17. I think most folks who are in large part known in the community for their occupation can relate to this.
  18. I am 39 and my wife is 37. She reminds me of this all the time, and I remind her that women tend to age physically more quickly than men. So in “female years” she is really like 52. She doesn’t like this ?
  19. Husky-Corgi mix is the schizz-nit. Equally important to me in evaluating my clients and making diagnoses that are supposed to lead to treatment (which is typically a pill), is opining that the child is fairly typical, functional, and happy and should be allowed to be themselves. More often then not, if I defer diagnosis, the parent will come back to school with a prescription pad diagnosis from a medical doctor. Often times after a 15 minute office visit, or sadly, after no contact with the child at all. If a parent wants a diagnosis for their child they typically will get it, eventually.
  20. Yes, I’m just looking to have a friendly discussion about this, and I appreciate your input. I don’t claim to know everything about everything related to anxiety/social challenges, but I do have a great deal of real life experience here. WRT your friends struggling with how school personnel perceive their children, I deal with this almost every single day. It goes both ways. I didn’t mean to just point the stinky finger at parents. Again, this notion of a range of normalcy, to me, has real value in determining a course of treatment.
