    Ongoing? I don’t know that Beane would make such a deal without an extension in place. Astro suggesting that this deal might “materialize” within the next 48 hours gives me pause on my hopes for KM. He will receive the largest contract for a defensive player, ever.

    IMO, he most certainly doesn’t want to pay what Mack will be paid to extend him. He also is not going to want to pay Mack franchise tag $ for a DE after this season. We may have a motivated seller here.

    Indeed. Agree to disagree I suppose. What I saw on he field was a talented young safety. Jamal appears to be somewhat of a big floppin douchebag. No doubt about that.

    With DC Tom’s body now clumsily dismembered and disposed of in the Allegheny River, the now blood thirsty Bob set his sights on bigger fish...a woman that he has held so dearly to his heart for some time.

    He had a pretty good rookie year on a really bad team. Was their best defender in many of the Jests games I watched last year, IMHO. Physical SS with good range. Interceptions aren’t everything, hombre.

    I’m really starting to think it’s Mack. I know it’s crazy, but it just makes too much sense. I think we’d likely lose our 2019 1st as part of the deal, but I am okay with that.

    The flip side of that coin is that there is a decent chance Mack becomes an UFA next year. Why give away assets for him now if he ultimately wants to be here?

    Hey. I LOVE me some Aaron Donald. But I think DE is a more pressing need (especially if there is a stud available), and DT depth can be attained in the draft/FA. WTF do I know though....?
