  1. What would lead you to believe that? Just a suspicion? I highly doubt he was forced to do anything. I also think this has been the plan for some time now.
  2. Bryson is painfully bad 🫣
  3. My wife is one of those people who can never sit still. We both have full-time careers in education, but she has always had the desire to work part-time jobs here and there to stay busy. This tends to create added work for me at home with the household chores and the kids, but she enjoys it and it makes her happy. In August she shared with me that she wanted to apply for a psych tech job at the hospital and work a couple nights per week. She makes ~$60/hour, so it brings in some extra cash flow to pay for vacations and the kids’ sports and such. I’m totally cool with it. It also gives me some alone time once the kids go to bed which I enjoy. I’ve been married for 13 years though. A long time ago when I was in graduate school I dated a girl seriously for a few years. I was doing classes half-time, an internship in Syracuse City Schools, waiting tables at night, and then coming home and doing reading/homework for 4-5 hours. She liked to go out to the bars after work, but I rarely joined her bc I was exhausted and had too much work to do. After so many times of her crawling in bed with me drunk at 3-4 in the morning I broke up with her. We were clearly not a good match in terms of our life goals. I was bummed though bc she was incredibly hot and a lot of fun in bed 🥵🤗
  4. Any word on when Alex Tuch is hopeful to return? Sabres are missing him a lot. He’s one that really “stirs the drink” out there.
  5. I don’t like the cut of your jib, young fellow.
  6. He has made his presence known for sure. A BIG hit and a fight. Got his ass handed to him in the fight but he’s willing to drop the mits 🤷🏾‍♂️
  7. So that’s why they got Stillman.
  8. John Bol Ajak to enter transfer portal after season. Not surprising and I wish him well.
  9. I’ll bet that Levi starts a game for Buffalo this season.
  10. Do you get your “fix” or your “kicks” on Route 66?
  11. I know it’s not going to happen, but I’d love Max Domi on this team. Not a big fan of the rental thing for this team though.
  12. Plus Bylsma, Housley and Krueger 🤮
  13. Yes. I played for the first time this past summer, and I’ll admit I had a lot of fun. I met a friend up at Sugarbush ski resort and took the gondola to the summit where there was a course built into the trails. I didn’t know there were different discs for different types of “throws.” I pretty much sucked at it, but would definitely play again.
  14. It’s “Escape Goat.” Yeesh…these people 😂
  15. Dude, is that thing just blasting you in the junk with its tail? I see pain in your eyes.
  16. Dissociation exists at many different levels/layers of consciousness. Dissociative Fugue? Easy Walter White 😂
  17. Ummmm….have you tried weed?
  18. DM me if you have any questions about PSLF. Now is the time to do it. I can at least get you all started. Not a very complicated process, especially if your wife has only had one employer. PS: Don’t count on the Biden student loan relief legislation to come through.
  19. I recently had a conversation with my therapist about this. It seems that this phenomenon can be explained, in part, by dissociation. I recall long drives home from a stressful day at work or a busy day of grad classes, and forgetting the last 20 miles of my commute. Totally lost in nothingness. The brain’s neurological coping mechanism.
  20. I heard an interview recently with Rick Rubin where he talks about how he was a strict vegan for a substantial amount of time, yet he was the heaviest he had ever been in his life.
  21. In other words, don’t go out to eat at restaurants at which you aren’t completely certain there are vegan options. Call in advance. No one wants to sit there for 25 minutes while the waitress goes back and forth to the kitchen trying to figure out if your meal can be made vegan. I’m trying to help 😉
  22. A vegan diet CAN be healthy if done correctly. My wife was a vegan for over a year, but has gone back to eating meat and fish occasionally as she found herself to feel “fatigued” and not herself at times. You need to be careful to consume foods that give you protein, calcium, iron, and other essential vitamins such a B12.
