  1. I think this o-line, once they get the personnel straight, will be vastly better than they showed last night.
  2. They already had Glenn’s replacement in Dawkins. Free agency begins in mid-March. The RI situation came to a head on April 14th. The heir apparent for Wood was supposed to be Groy, and I think he will fill in just fine in time. Overall, I think the FO did the best they could to deal with the loss of RI.
  3. Agreed. Who we trading for OP? Don’t make us do your homework for your thread. Put some thought into viable trade candidates.
  4. Praise be to god. Peace be with you, brother.
  5. To be fair to the FO, I’m not sure they expected to have to replace RI or Wood. They did draft Teller, and I expect him to be a starter at LG sooner than later.
  6. Dawkins-Teller-Groy-Miller-Mills (maybe Wesley?)
  7. So, after Peterman gets destroyed behind “this Oline” because he’s not very mobile and takes much longer than Allen to get the ball out, what do we do then? Right. Then we play the guy who should have been playing all along, the rookie, because he is the only QB we have that can flourish in this offense.
  8. Time for Wyatt Teller to take over at LG. Groy needs to stay at C. Perhaps try De’Ondre Wesley at RT?
  9. Great, well they’d most assuredly love Khari Lee if he is released then. I actually think Logan Thomas is going to be the odd man out. Has flashed a few times, but is not really good at anything. I think the LT experiment is over.
  10. The point I was opposing was that Daboll is looking to cut loose TE’s that are not like the ones that NE typically employs (Gronk, Hernandez, Bennett). Versatile pass catching TE’s. Khari Lee is not that. That was my point. Great that Lee had a few receptions, but he is not a guy who is going to stretch the field.
  11. Okay, but if this is the rational for cutting O’Leary, then why would they keep Lee? Lee is a blocking TE...not much more.
  12. No disrespect, but you just made a lot of assertions based on two preseason games. I will wait, however, to disagree with your assessment.
  13. I’ve been saying this all along. Correct, the way his contract is structured, 2019 is the year to dump Charles Clay. And I suspect they will. His contract was ridiculous to begin with.
  14. I’m a bit surprised, but not necessarily worried about Dawkins. Watching him dominate really good DE’s last season gives me some reassurance...bad game against a very, very good DE. Now, Vlad and Bodine? I’m worried.
  15. I was thinking the same thing. I broke my collarbone my junior year of college lacrosse, and I could barely walk off the field.
  16. AJM sucks and so does Peterman. Allen is the only real QB on this team.
  17. Stats are important...
  18. I don’t put much stock in preseason statistics. To me, especially for a QB, it’s more about how they look mentally. Do they look comfortable, do they have good command of the offense, do they manage the clock well, are they leaders. Obviously, the footwork, mechanics, pocket awareness, ability to keep eyes upfield and climb the pocket....all that stuff important. I am pained to say that I like what I see thus far from Darnold. Darnold v Allen could be like Marino v Kelly for years to come.
  19. Antonio Callaway Tommy Chong
  20. I’m pretty sure that you do care. Denial and sublimation appear to be your immature coping mechanisms. Darnold passes the eye test for me. Runs the offense efficiently, has a good presence about him that is essential for a QB, seems to read the field well, and does a nice job keeping calm and keeping his eyes upfield. Preseason stats do have some value, IMO, but the context of those stats are more important.
  21. Didn’t your kindergarten teacher or your momma teach you not to tattle? I’m not sure if you’re keeping track of the folks reacting to my posts directed at you, but people are kinda “piling on” with their reactions. Seems my assessment of you is shared by at least a few posters around here....
  22. Typical response from a spineless puke. Keep saying the same stuff over and over. I’m starting to feel bad for you. I’ll leave you alone now.
  23. Another creative comeback. You’re not very good at this, are you? I get a sense that you were bullied a lot in HS.
  24. ? No, that was clearly a note to you, Sally. Everyone knows what a whiny little girl you can be when someone disagrees with you. Own it.
