My son has been playing hockey since he was 4-5. He’s lefty so when he practices stick handling/shooting he puts a small piece of PVC pipe on his stick and grips it with his bottom hand. Forces him to control the puck with his top hand. His bottom hand doesn’t even touch the stick.

My daughter is a total lefty. My wife and I are completely right handed. My son writes with his right hand, but plays all sports (hockey, lacrosse, swings a bat) left handed. It’s weird how that all works out.

The Exorcist 3. I think I was in like 5th grade when I watched it. Amazing what our parents let us do back in the 90s. I didn’t sleep for like 3 nights afterward. Kept envisioning the demonic nurses crawling around on the ceiling with trails of blood behind them. 😱

A win is a win…Detroit playing with reckless abandon. They certainly have some solid young “pieces” to that team. I didn’t see all the goals scored against DL, but I did 3 that were “fortunate” goals. The one that went off Owen’s knee, the Tuch deflection, and I forget the other one (Lyubushkin turnover?). The kid is going to take his lumps, but I love what I’m seeing thus far. He’s fun to watch. So I’m hearing that Tage has fractured ribs? Anyone else catch this rumor? Man, I cracked a couple ribs last spring building a retaining wall, and I couldn’t even breathe without pain. Dahlin did not play well. I think he’s pretty well wiped from playing 30 minutes/game. Owen Power was awesome tonight. Just win babay!!!!!

He can’t “legally” speak publicly about players who are under contract with another team, correct?

I believe there are ways of converting a large portion of his salary to a signing bonus so that you’re not kicking the can down the road too far. I think a restructured 3 year deal could work if done correctly. I’m no cap expert though.

Obviously, Beane isn’t going to take on his full salary regardless of the trade compensation. Arizona paying part of the bill or a contract restructuring would need to be part of the deal. If Nuk didn’t have such a burdensome contract, he would have been traded long ago.

Hence, Nuk being willing to restructure his deal is likely a big part of this.

Sounds like Arizona doesn’t want to eat any of his salary, so the hold up might be a restructure agreement? In this case, I couldn’t see Buffalo parting with more than a couple late round picks.
