I mean...I’d still pay for Teddy
Johnny Hammersticks replied to GoodHands15's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This a horrible idea. I’d roll Logan Thomas out there and tank the season before using significant assets on a filler QB. Be a fan, but be critical of 2019 and beyond. -

Depression vs Introversion
Johnny Hammersticks replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
A common symptom of clinical depression is losing interest in social interactions, but you probably already know that because you know everything, right? -

Depression vs Introversion
Johnny Hammersticks replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
There you go. I would keep a close eye on the depressive symptoms, however, as they may persist post-surgery and may require some form of assessment/treatment. My Father, for example, ended up experiencing depression related to ongoing complications subsequent to a very serious back surgery. He was essentially bound to his chair/bed for several months, and his personality and mood was greatly impacted to the point that he didn't want to eat regularly or have visitors. He ended up seeing a psychologist (reluctantly) and was prescribed a SSRI antidepressant medication which helped him a great deal. Not saying that meds is the answer for everything, but definitely keep a close eye on him. -
Depression vs Introversion
Johnny Hammersticks replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Tough call based on your description. A person who is introverted socially can also experience depression. Conversely, a person who is introverted can sometimes present as being depressed when they actually are not. You say "at the moment." Is there anything environmentally which may have triggered a change in his behavior or mood? Is his current state drastically different than the way he typically functions? -
Are the Bills covering up for Josh?

I believe your level of disdain for Allen has achieved “crusade” proportions. Against TOS. Mods, please deal with this poster accordingly. -

Yeah, because QB’s never improve after college. The same lynch mob came after Goff after his rookie season. I’m saying I think he can develop. You are writing him off after 5 weeks of his rookie season. One of us is going to be right. I’d rather it be me. -

Point well taken, but he didn’t play poorly and he didn’t play great. Did he play “well?” Well I don’t think so. Do I think the Bills are trying to “cover up” for Josh Allen? No. -
I was watching the game at my sister’s house, and immediately before the play my BIL said “here comes the pick 6.” I believed it as as soon as he said it.

To me he looked today like he has much of the season. Raw and not ready. He abandons the pocket way too early, has trouble keeping his eyes upfield, and struggles with his footwork/accuracy. The situation that he was thrusts into is certainly not a good one. I remain optimistic, however, that he can develop the tools to be a good one. The kid is a competitor, and I feel strongly that he will put the work in if provided the appropriate guidance/coaching. He is not close to a finished product, obviously, but we have to roll with him now if he is healthy. -
Perhaps the best 3 point shooter of the ‘19 class. Great job by Red Autry and Gmac to steal him away from Duke and Michigan.

Who has a pet buried in the backyard?
Johnny Hammersticks replied to mead107's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Buried my mini-dachshund in the side yard. Had to put her down after she bit 4 or 5 people...the last of which was my son. Spent thousands of dollars on dog trainers, psychologists, and eventually doggy Zoloft. I never liked that stupid dog anyway. She was a little !@#$. -

She’s got a weird neck and corpse fingers. No thanks.
