Pretty simple. Syracuse missed a lot of well contested shots, and their 3 main scorers tried to go 1 on 1 all game long. UCONN played great defense and hit a lot of wide open shots. Boeheim will correct this offense, and getting Frank Howard back at PG will help a lot. This is a very talented team, and it’s a marathon not a sprint. I know! How does that even happen? Wonder if he will have the correct jersey for today’s game?

***** you! ? It’s going to be a weird crowd for the game. We watched the first half of the Oregon/Iowa game last night, and there MIGHT have been 100 Oregon fans in the building. The freshman center, Bol Bol, is fun to watch. He can do a lot for a 7’2” kid.

Something is very wrong when your freshman PG scores 24 points and leads the team in rebounds, but has zero assists and turns the rock over 6 times. Nice to see some positive things from our young guard, but it’s clear that Frank Howard needs to be back out there to help run the offense. Battle and Brissett were pretty much non-existant last night. Hughes flashed with some key shots, but went missing for periods of time as well. Just flat out got out played, out hustled, and UCONN shot the ball really well. Danny Hurley is fugging annoying. About to grab some breakfast and head to the Blarney for a couple bloody marys. The UVM campus is located right in downtown Burlington. Tons of young, beautiful, willing sexual partners. South Burlington is a mix of middle class and slum-ish neighborhoods. Tons of dried up soccer moms in Subaru Foresters on their way to the farmers market.

Trust me, Beilein would love to land those 5* recruits consistently. He can’t. It’s not a choice. Very few coaches/teams can pull that off. I have always admired John as a coach, however, as his teams always seem to be very tough...mentally and physically.

CVS. You can bring in just about anything (e.g., thumb drive, phone cord, camera memory chip, etc...), plug them into the machine, and have nice pictures made. Pretty cheap too.

They have Stanford and Lacey. Not great depth, especially considering Edmunds is just coming off the CP. I suspect that they will make a move to bolster that position with the 2 open spots created by releasing Pryor and Peterman.

I’m not talking about guys like Bridgewater who could start for a lot of teams. I would make Allen the starter, and bring in guys similar to our current back-ups, DA and Barkley. IMO, this is Allen’s team until proven otherwise.

Start Josh Allen and immediately bring in a couple veteran signal callers. Pretty much what Beane did except I would bring in a couple veterans sooner than he did. Like after the AJM trade....
