  1. Oh the poor University. I’m sure Roy Williams cried himself to sleep every single night ridden with shame. Everyone with any knowledge of sports knows that, everything included, this was the largest case of academic fraud in the history of college sports. Yeah, keep defending the university and the coaches who clearly had NO IDEA what was going on....yeah right. Yet, in addition to a self-imposed post season ban, what sanctions did Syracuse basketball receive when Fab Melo had a term paper written for him? Vacated 108 of Boeheim’s wins? Lost 12 scholarships...just to name a couple? Yeah, we’ll all weep for UNC...
  2. Yeah, over 40 percent of the students enrolled in the ***** classes were either basketball or football players, but because they couldn’t directly link either program neither were punished for academic fraud. Although, they were essentially producing illiterate student athletes. But why would the NCAA conclude that the basketball program was guilty of being involved in something so atrocious? It’s because the NCAA is corrupt, and serious sanctions on the UNC basketball program would cost them mega-bucks. But carry on.... I wouldn’t disagree with you. Major college sports are big business. Hence, the NCAA is willing to brush a lot of this stuff under the rug.
  3. Yeah, just like UNC basketball is too “high profile” of a program to get away with years of well-documented, egregious academic fraud. So there’s that... Also, a coach doesn’t necessarily have to hand out checks to recruits to be associated with foul recruiting practices. They often have agents, sneaker execs, and other people like WWW to do their evil deeds for them.
  4. I do too. He actually seems to be a really decent guy. Met him at training camp. Just retire Peterman!!!!
  5. Oh jeez ?. At least Peterman has the lord because no one else likes him.
  6. I don’t want any more hair on my chest. Why would you suggest that? That’s symptomatic of a psychopath.
  7. Sorry, my natural hemp fibers shirt caused those unseemly autocorrectz on my IPhonez. The garb is too free flowing, and my tofu and quinoa diet has caused me gas. Edit: and the pot.
  8. How do you know my birthday, you old bastard? You’re parents got spring fever and boned on the davenport ?
  9. My birthday is coming up in February. Maybe we can just change the title to save time?
  10. We added my son to our AT&T plan in September. Bought a AT&T “unlocked” phone on EBay and it connected and works perfectly. I would imagine that would also apply to nicer smartphones. I do know that AT&T (at least in my area) offers a BOGO on the newest iPhones. That is a good deal if you’re looking to upgrade 2 phones.
  11. Rural Vermont. We got Price Chopper and Hannefords. Hannefords actually has a pretty good selection, but I was looking for something online that freshly roasts the beans just before they ship. Peet’s looks like a good option. I’ve been researching their website.
  12. Could you provide a link to the “apparatus” involved? I recall my mother making coffee this way when I was a kid.
  13. Well, I am a black man....so I guess you’re right? lol
  14. I tried to talk my wife into getting a smaller Keurig machine for the house. Sometimes you just want one quick cup of coffee, and don’t want to bother making and wasting a whole pot. She was not interested due to the plastic waste involved. Apparently, whales get them caught in their blow holes or something ?
  15. I don't know. I probably should watch a youtube video or something ?
  16. Not a huge fan of Starbucks....usually too bitter for me. I love the idea of using a french press, and I own one, but I've never had much luck. Usually it comes out like light brown dish water.
  17. Looks like that's right up my alley, and I like the price. Sounds like a lot of work to me...lol. We have a coffee machine with a built in grinder. Nothing fancy but it makes pretty good coffee. Also we have an espresso machine that I haven't used in years. I love Jamaican blue Mountain, but I'm so cautious about buying it due to our experience buying it in Jamaica. If I could find a reliable place to get it online, I would pay the high price just to enjoy it here and there.
  18. My wife usually buys the cheap Price Chopper Dark roast, but I’d like to expand my horizons a little bit and I’m not afraid to spend money to get good quality. Anyone get their coffee online? If so, any recommendations as to where to buy it? Also, any recommendations as to different types of coffee. My wife and I loved Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee when we were on our honeymoon in Negril. We ended up buying a few pounds while we were there but got ripped off...stuff was like sawdust when we opened it. lol We tend to gravitate toward the darkest types of coffee. Love espresso. Thanks in advance for the tips!
  19. My wife drinks her coffee black. Psycho...
  20. Yeah, having high draft picks is a bad idea because McD&Beane have drafted so terribly. We should win 2 or 3 meaningless games because draft position doesn’t matter.
  21. I hate to say this, but I am increasingly coming around to the notion of shelving Allen for the season.
