What are your plans for draft night?
Johnny Hammersticks replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Watching at home. I took a personal day on Friday. Probably get tipsy and order a pizza. Maybe not in that order. -
2024 power forward, right? I had heard the same thing recently. There was one other school (I believe Maryland) that was also still in the mix….

Red Autry recruiting HARD right now. He’s everywhere and in person meeting with these kids. Future looks bright.

I was just joking. I put my cart in the little corral thing. May peace be with you. Life Hacks!!! If you want to get out of work a couple hours early, but not use the personal time, tell them your child got in a fight with some MS-13 gang members at recess. No one will question.
-
I think I smoked opium this way one time. Life Hacks!! When you tote your groceries out to your car in the cart, just leave it in front of your car. No need to return it. They have people for that.

I went down to Myrtle Beach this past week for break. We drove all night and got there at like 10am. The kids wanted to go right to the beach, but I was exhausted. I figured a cup of coffee and smoke a bowl and I’m good to go for a few hours. Problem…I forgot to pack my pipe and no papers. I successfully made a bowl out of a granola bar and it worked wonderfully. Just smooshed it all up and then shaped it around the handle of a wooden cooking spoon. Life hacks!

Gunner's 2023 Draft Quarterback Evaluations
Johnny Hammersticks replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Stroud is still my favorite QB in this class. Interesting that all this negative stuff is coming out a week before the draft. I suspect that some team (LV, Atlanta) desperately wants him to drop. I think he is the best pure passer in the bunch. -
You can spot all the newbs in this thread right away.

gotta get that big.

The Las Vegas A's are coming in 2027

Would they still be called the Athletics? -
Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?

Eh…he’s fun. I don’t know why stuff like this makes people upset 🤷🏾♂️ -
Autry says he wants to add another guard and center to the ‘23 roster. This comment came after the Westry commit. I know they’ve offered Moussa Cisse who could potentially be granted a waiver and play in ‘23, but he has a lot of interest from other P5 teams. I wonder which guard he has in mind 🤔
-
Westry is a Swiss Army knife. Combo guard who can also play some SF due to his size/length. Big get.
-
Sounds like Hunter Dickinson (as expected) is pretty much out of the question. Hoping Judah returns and we land Chance Westry and Moussa Cisse. Then I’ll start to feel optimistic about next season.

Bills sign offensive linemen Kevin Jarvis

Wake me up when Beane starts signing all-pro free agents. -
I’m relatively tall, but I would imagine that the horse at least weighs much more than I. Weird question.
-
Well, it appears that some other elite programs were able to outbid PayCal’s billionaires. Good for Jesse. Can’t knock the hustle. He’ll be an interesting prospect to follow and root for.
-
He committed verbally a while back, but he and JJ Starling signed their NLI yesterday.
-
Looks like screwdolph the orange wanged horse.
-
Again, this is information from a trusted source. This person has been wrong before, but more often right than wrong. But if it played out as this person said it did, I feel like I can’t help but to lose a little respect for Jesse (or at least the family member negotiating on his behalf).
-
My understanding is that it was a bidding war until the Syracuse group backed out when it got crazy. I know the exact rumored figure, but I’m reluctant to say at this point. Let’s see what happens.
-
I just heard Kentucky is the favorite to land Jesse Edwards. The Syracuse “consortium” did the best they could to match (and even go beyond) what Kentucky could do in terms of NIL money, but in the end it sounds like Kentucky may end up winning out here. Again, just what I’m hearing from a source. Take it for what it’s worth.
-
It’s my understanding that there are some very wealthy alums that are in line to take his place.

I’ve been hearing since before JB announced his retirement that the University was going to “push out” Adam Weitsman after this season. They weren’t pleased with his involvement. Take that for what it’s worth…
