Have You Used ESPN+?
Johnny Hammersticks replied to HereComesTheReignAgain's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I use the watchespn app on my PS4 and my iphone, and I'm able to watch most games. I get it for free through DirecTV. -
There’s just so much going on in this story
Johnny Hammersticks replied to BringBackFergy's topic in Off the Wall Archives
In his mug shot photo....he either appears to be really happy, or is having a pine cone inserted in his rectum....the wrong way. -
Many women from India, or other countries in that region of the world, poop in the shower and then smoosh it down the drain with their feet. Truth. Hard pass...

Bad Date Stories
Johnny Hammersticks replied to The Real Buffalo Joe's topic in Off the Wall Archives
No one needs to carry dead weight. A bit of a parallel....not necessarily a date story but a girl I was dating. I was finishing up my education, living in CNY bartending part-time, and had just accepted my first job down in Charlotte. About to make big moves in my life. The girl I was dating at the time was absolutely stunning. Probably too hot for me, but sort of immature and liked to party a little too much for her age (25-26). Frequently, she would go out to the bar while was working or studying, and then crawl into bed next to me at 2 or 3 am smelling like booze. I knew I was going to be moving out of state, so we had a serious conversation about my need for her to better herself in one way or another. I suggested that she take some classes to work toward finishing her degree. I suggested that she try to find a full-time job (she waitressed like 2-3 nights per week and mommy gave her money). After about 6 months I was about a month away from moving to Charlotte. Start a new life. She assumed she was coming with me, as we had been dating for almost 2 years. Welp, I had to let her know that I was moving south by myself because she had yet to prove to me that she could get her ***** together enough to contribute. I wasn’t going to support her. That relationship ended very abruptly, and I got a single new start in Charlotte which was for the best. -
Are you an introvert or extrovert?
Johnny Hammersticks replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Extrovert here. The more people the better. Love parties and can carry on a conversation with just about anyone. Although, as mentioned earlier in this thread, as I have grown older (and there is less opportunity for it) I do enjoy time by myself or just with my family. -
Is This Poetic, or Inappropriate?
Johnny Hammersticks replied to The Real Buffalo Joe's topic in Off the Wall Archives
No, I wouldn’t. Not my thing. But there are quite a few couple out there that like to swing. Been propositioned several times while out drinking with my wife....well at least when my wife and I were much younger, obviously. We’d always just laugh it off. -

I think your hypothetical ratio might be a bit of an underestimate. -
Wahad picks Georgetown. So ***** him for the rest of his playing career, eh? I hate Georgetown.

-70 in Fairbanks, Alaska. Actually, I think the lowest was like -68, but I just tell people -70 because it sounds cooler. The thing about the cold in Fairbanks is that we would have 2-3 week where the high temperatures would not eclipse -50. That sucked. The hottest temps I ever experienced were in Las Vegas two summers ago in July. The wife and I got an all expenses paid trip through her employer so that she could attend some training. It was ranging between 120-125 degrees for a couple days. Dry heat my ass! That was unbearable, and I don't know how people live there.

For the first time in forever, both of my “sources” have no clue about Qudus Wahad. Said he and his camp are holding their cards very close to their vest. My one guy who communicates with the coaches almost daily said “It looks like Georgetown, but it could be Georgetown, Pitt or Syracuse.” Said that Stewart picking UW put Syracuse back in play (obviously). The most interesting part of our text exchange was learning that the coaching staff views Wahab as a very similar prospect as current ‘19 commit John Bol Ajak. Both viewed as “4 year projects.” FWIW....I’ll post if I learn anything else between now and tomorrow at 4:00.

Great eyes! Her boobs like kind of “sick” for such a young lady. They look like they point east and west. -

My wife is allergic to gluten and dairy. Like even a little of either will make her very, very sick. Speaking of bad dining experiences. Try going out to a restaurant with my bride...lol. -

You called out a diner waitress for a 69 cent upcharge on your bill? ? Cheap cheap ? -
Last I heard he was a Pitt lean. I’ll send some texts...

Appears to be our last shot at a legit 2019 center. If we don’t land Wahab, probably bring in a JuCo kid or a grad transfer.

They wear similar chest protectors to those worn by hockey players, only without the shoulder/arm protection. It’s like a half inch of protective foam/plastic. I’ve always thought that lax players wore inadequate chest protection. I recall the incident in ‘94 and then another when I was young (9th grade) and at Hobart Lacrosse Camp. Another kid hit in the chest and his heart stopped and he died. Tragic.

I won’t get into specifics, but most of the front of the house staff (except for me and one other dude who was manager) were pretty young ladies...most of them “imported” from Europe. Ol’ Harv made more than a few of them feel uncomfortable due to his sexual “advances.” His wife was a smoking hot blonde, BTW, but I don’t know if they’re still together. Another little one. We were all having staff lunch prior to service one day, and Harvey came into the clubhouse looking for a light for his cigar. One of the chefs quickly handed over a lighter and told Harv to keep it. Harvey yelled to the GM who was doing inventory at the bar “I’m going to leave this guy a tip at guest services. Make sure he gets all of it.” The chef went to guest services to find out that Harv left him $500. We went out to the bars on Harvey that night ? -

I was waiting at this “elitist” tennis club in Martha’s Vineyard. I waited on all kinds of celebrities...Val Kilmer, Meg Ryan, Henry Kissinger, Liza Minnelli, Harvey Weinstein (lots of stories about Harv) to name a few.... All of the wait staff would draw straws to see who got to wait on old lady Singer. Her family invented the Singer sewing machine. She was such a B word, and was a really crappy tipper for a multi-billionaire. Anyway, I was forced to wait on her during a lunch shift. She had 7 or 8 old bags with her. The group had just finished their soup/salad course, and their entrees were coming out, so I began to clear their plates. There was one woman who had like 2 spoonfuls if chowder left in her cup. When I reached for the first salad plate, old lady Singer grabbed me by my wrist and screamed in my face “Don’t you dare touch a plate on my table until everyone is finished!!” I wanted to crawl under the table... -
Indeed they are. My girlfriend during my undergrad years went to Cornell. I lived with her 2 summers in a row. Love Ithaca.

I know many of you guys are Cornell alums, but have you heard how the Cortaca Jug (Cortland vs Ithaca) game is going to be played at MetLife Stadium in November 2019? That’s awesome. Great rivalry.
