I can’t recall verbatim, but something to the effect of “Yeah, he’s a phenomenal player, and every team needs to do their due diligence when evaluating these situations.” Just a very non-descript and generic response to a question about whether or not Buffalo was interested in AB. Didn’t sound like he had any interest.

And every single one was a Mike Hopkins recruit. Boeheim doesn’t really actively recruit anymore. He sometimes will make a visit, but overall, he has been pretty hands off in the recruiting process for a long time. It’s going to be a defensive battle. Perimeter shooting, rebounding, and converting on foul shots will decide this one. I am thankful Syracuse is at home for this one. A win would be huge.

I’d take DK Metcalf at 9. Assuming he is cleared after a thorough medical examination.

I’ve heard a lot of Malachi Rich comparisons. Yeah, Hop appears to have been the recruiting genius that landed most of those big fish. I think Red Autry and GMac do their best, but they aren’t Hop. We kept the wrong coach!

From what I can gather his recruitment went really quickly. I think we were one of the first to offer, then Oregon, then Kentucky ?, then things got out of hand. I don’t think there was much interest on his end. He’s going to be a beast though.

I can’t even look at egg salad. I’ll throw up. Weird thing from childhood. In 3rd or 4th grade we had assigned seats for lunch. I sat directly across from this kid with giant braces who ate an egg salad sandwich, seemingly, every single day for lunch. The egg bits dripping from his braces and flying all over the damn place ? My wife makes it once in a while. I can’t even smell it.
