  1. Emmitt Smith? He ran a 4.7 at the combine. https://sportsday.dallasnews.com/dallas-cowboys/cowboys/2016/02/28/nfl-analyst-cowboys-great-emmitt-smith-shows-combine-metric-overrated-rbs
  2. Strangely, she could be my sister's identical twin. You sunnamobitch!
  3. It's amazing to me how folks continue to doubt Beane, and trust the other talking heads WRT where players are drafted. Why people automatically assume that they "reached" for Singletary based on draft rankings created outside of OBD is dumb, IMO. Beane and his crew had their draft board. They felt they got good value where Devin was drafted. Who are we to question/doubt that?
  4. We go cliff jumping at the quarries all the time. My 5 year old daughter did one about this height yesterday with me. About 15-20’. My 9 year old son did a 40’ jump last summer. No biggie if you do it safely.
  5. I can’t believe all the passes on this one. She’s very doable.
  6. Didn’t Kramer have dental surgery or something? ?
  7. Yeah, I always park at Southerland. So convenient. Quick and easy. About a 10 minute bus ride to camp. Close to 490. Folks that pay $20 to park in someone’s yard across the street baffle me. Take that extra $19 and put it toward some new Bills gear ?
  8. Park at one of the HS’s and take the $1 shuttle. It’s fine.
  9. You are so ridiculous. The McCartney interview was absolutely amazing! He is widely regarded as one of the best interviewers ever. Seriously, what is your beef with Howard?
  10. Conversely and sadly, it probably is equally as common to go grocery shopping and bump into a couple manatee looking 20 year olds wearing flip flops and bikinis.
  11. These chickens in Vermont have a bizarre accent. They also think they’re so cool because they’re all free-range and organic.
  12. Has he always had a bum knee? I’m trying to recall his injury history...
  13. Harry’s blades are cheaper, but they seem to dull far quicker than my Gillette razors of old.
  14. Went out for dinner with the bride last night and had a hanger steak (mid rare) with bernaise and truffle fries. I forgot how tender and flavorful hanger steaks were. It was incredible. Fairly inexpensive cut of meat too!
  15. Sorry. SiriusXM has over 30 million subscribers...largely due to the Howard Stern Show. It is estimated that the show gets an average of a couple hundred thousand listeners daily. I still love the show, and the Kim Goldman interview was brilliant, IMO. I also have no problem with Howard expressing his opinion re: OJ and Twitter.
  16. I am still an avid listener of Stern, and while his show certainly has evolved, I still enjoy it very much. Particularly the interviews. I mean, they still get around 30 million listeners every day, so they must be doing something right ?‍♂️
  17. For a second I thought this thread was about Jordan Poyer’s wife.
  18. What is hypnotism? If it is a relaxed “state of consciousness” that causes one to be more prone to suggestion/manipulation, then I believe in it and see the therapeutic utility. I do not believe in the traditional notion of hypnotism, in that, it turns you into a zombie that will click like a chicken if ordered to do so. That’s BS.
  19. If it’s a really nice piece of meat, I typically will go the cast iron pan route. Olive oil, salt and ground black pepper and let sit for 30 minutes. Put a thin coating of olive oil in the pan and crank up the heat. Cook on both sides until the meat developes a nice crust. Throw in a couple TBSPs of butter, a couple sprigs of rosemary, and a couple crushed cloves of garlic. Baste with the butter for a few minutes, cook meat to M/R, take out of the pan and let it sit for 5 minutes. Baked potato is a must for me. Wash large russet potatos and coat with olive oil. Sprinkle on salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Poke holes with a fork on top side. Preheat oven to 400. Put potatos right on the top rack with a drip pan underneath. Cook for 1 hour. Insides cooked perfectly, and the skin is crispy like a potato chip.
  20. Sometimes I get afraid that a crocodile is going to climb up out of my toilet and bite my coin purse. True story.
  21. I went to Vegas for 7 days and probably spent 2 hours actually gambling (not counting the sports book). It was a long time ago, but I won around $900 playing Caribbean Stud poker at Turning Stone. Four 9s. If I do go to a casino nowadays, I walk in with $200 cash and I’m done when/if it’s gone.
