Thanks for the recommendation, but we ended up running kind of short on time for food. We ended up getting some decent burgers/wings at a place right across from the main campus entry called Across the Street Pub. I will definitely try The Hollow some time though. Haven’t had really good wings in a while.

My immediate reaction? Josh Allen made one moronically stupid play and two poor throws. It was obvious from the first snap that the goal was to experiment with the run game. Mixed bag with the o-line, but to be expected given all the new role players. Our defense very rarely (if at all) blitzed. Very vanilla. Expect to see so many more diverse looks from Frazier for week 1. Tremaine Edmunds is a savage. Going to be a star. Special teams sucked. Blocking on kick returns sucked. Punt coverage was okay, but Corey B was wildly inconsistent. My only really solid takeaways from this game is that Josh Allen needs to get in a rhythm to throw with consistent accuracy, our special teams units need work, and we need to bring in a punter.

I guess UAlbany area doesn’t have much in the way of good food...?

Hey all. Taking my son to the Professional Lacrosse League (Chaos vs Atlas) game tonight at Tom & Mary Casey Stadium (UAbany). I’ve done the research online and know of some restaurants that are close by, but I was wondering if there might be some UAlbany alums or locals that know of any “must try” eateries near campus? I will be with my 9 year old son, so not looking for anything too fancy. Any hidden gems? BTW...tickets are still on sale for $19.99. Game time is 8:00 and 2 of the best teams are playing. He did 16 reps on the bench press at the combine. Hock had 17 ?‍♂️ He had the 2nd best 3 cone time (7.12) and an impressive vertical (34.5). Also ran 4.59 40 at his pro day which would put him 3rd among TE’s behind Fant and Caleb Wilson. He’s a gifted athlete. I’d say average strength for his position with above average athleticism. Can he play though? Beane must think he can....

I hope you’re wrong. Beane has done a pretty good job drafting in his brief tenure. I’d like to think they spotted something with this kid, and he was just grossly underutilized in college. The way they went up to get him in the 3rd (plus reports from mini camps) gives me more confidence that this kid will be good.

From what I read, this fish didn’t really have two mouths/heads as initial reports indicated. Rather, it was determined that the “extra mouth” was more likely an old injury that just healed that way.

I was saying the other night how I thought their accents sounded more Wisconsin/Minnesota/N-S Dakota. Especially Tilly and her husband. We watch it on the Showtime app. “Borrowed” my BIL’s user and password and we’re watching it on the Firestick. Nope, haven’t picked Euphoria yet. Watched the first two episodes and stopped, but the plan is to watch the rest. Have to finish Dannemora and watch Mindhunter first.
